The Valley so low.
The questioners certainly served up softballs. None about Watson and Clancy, none about Brown vs. LD, and they let Graves get away with saying they might play Branch as a 3-4 end....

He plays DE in a 3-4 scheme. Don't let his size fool you, this guy is a sick athlete.

Watson or Clancy would play the typical NT in the 3-4 scheme

wow

All 3 guys in the top 31

The Cards have been getting a lot of guys from the top 100 in rounds 3,4 and 5. lately. A far cry from the days when they would get most of their guys from Mel Kiper's "who's that?" list.

The largest improvement by far IMO has been in their 2nd round picks:

Boldin, Dansby, Latui and now Branch as opposed to Levar Fisher, Ray Thompson, Michael Stone and Johnny Rutledge.

So true. That second list is pretty sorry but the first is very impressive..all guys who will make a positive impact on the Cards for awhile.

...Leland Mc, Chuck Levy concur with the sentiment. :)
