Today it has been pouring rain here in east Mesa....what a great time to be watching movies in surround sound on the 61" Sony....I started early and watched Swordfish( this is a great movie), King Arthur(not a really good movie) then pulled out the Godfather 1(always like that). Got 24 on DVD for tomorrow and will watch Friday Night Lights at 9:40 tonight at the 2 dollar theater(my boys want to see it). Saw Flight of the Phoenix, Blade Trinity, Christmas with the Kranks(that one sucked), National Treasure, the Incredibles, at the theater and watched That thing you Do on Cinemax( I love that film) and also The Italian Job...which I also love. Charlize Theron is hot...that about covers my holiday viewing...at least the ones that I can tell you about. :p

Swordfish great and King Arthur not? I would think they would be at least equally bad... :D

went to see Sideways in the theater yesterday - what a great movie. the acting was superb, the writing was genius. tons of funny scenes as well - just an all around solid, solid movie.

i think now Eternal Sunshine and Sideways are my 2 favorite movies from 2004.

watched the Aviator yesterday. the scenes with the aircraft were amazing. i don't think leo should have played Howard - just wasn't convincing to me although there were about two times when i did empathize with him a little. i felt more for some of the supporting cast than i did him. there is just something about leonardo that doesn't ever make me relate or feel anything for the characters he portrays.

i thought it was a beautiful movie from a cinematography standpoint - but i don't think it's deserving of an oscar.

Ok, I'm sure everyone on here has seen this movie at least once. I guess I was living in a cave until recently, because I never saw it! Hubby borrowed Glory from a friend. Very touching movie!!!

good flick. I loved the action scenes. Wasn't this Denzel's breakout movie?

Yesterday, on dvd watched all three Lord Of The Rings Extended Edition movies back-to-back with Chandler Mike. Pretty cool stuff.

I saw that in the theater! <does superior dance>

I love the actor commentaries on thoese movies. Absolutely the best.

Today - went to the theater (AMC - which i absolutely hate) and watched Blade III: Trinity. it was okay.

I thought Ryan Reynolds was the best part of that movie!
