Is it really cockiness? The Cards don't exactly have a sterling record against the Vikes...home or away. Sure, their was the miracle Nate Poole catch, but other than that, I can only remember whippings they put on the Cards...including last years Jackson Is God performance.

Seeing we are the REIGNING NFC CHAMPIONS and beat everyone that beat them in the playoffs last year.We should'nt be thought of as an easy 3 touchdown win game by the majority of the posters.

Get over the past.I'm talking present. We have the same team that has come a long way from the beating we got from them last season. We have a running game now and our three wide recievers have set many records since we played last.

If we were 10-1 I would be cocky too. Still have to play the game. Makes a win that much sweeter.

You should hear the damn Titan fans now. They are 5-6.

Titans will be put back in their place against the Sheriff.

But the cards only have a puncher's chance against MIN.

I'd say the CARDINALS beat the vikings straight up.Thats my opinion. We've all got one.Plus someone may just shoot the sheriff this Sunday too. They might be missing Freeney with his ab problem again. That is one half of the defensive attack when Mathis has his partner in crime to attack.

The titans and colts know each other pretty well except. The colts don't know this Chris Johnson or this Vince Young very well.Don't think the colts will run very well and can't wait to see if they can pass either.

I know Chris Johnson won't be looking back to see if Bob Sanders is playing. He isn't.THE BIG MO is on the side of the titans.

Plus I'd say its time for another WARNER MAGIC SHOW on Sunday night after he even had some of his own team members doubt him. This is when he SHINES the brightest.I think it could get ugly for the vikes if favre starts spraying interceptions for the first time this year playing a REAL NFL team. They are'nt playing Flacco as the best qb they've faced this year on a good team. Most of their sacks have come against their own division teams.I'm all up for Bridges on Sunday night.I'm betting he's even looking forward to it also.

We might not have to face Shiancoe with his rib problems and Taylor has rib problems along with AP and his ankle will play and we will probably see the lil' cb with the bad foot play in Winfield, but he won't keep up with Fitzgerald who's gonna go OFF on his old team he was the ball boy for many years ago. This is a GIANT GAME FOR FITZGERALD.You have no idea how big.(punchers chance) Like Buster Douglas against mike tyson MAYBE?:D:D:D

The Doug'r gives me hope. I know this will be a tough game; my son and I will be going and will help shout-down any purple-people.

Gee Doug... The "present", as in the fact that they have only lost once this year? They have arguably the best RB in the game, one of the top performning QB's in the game who just went the entire month of November without throwing an interception, and the top 3rd down defense in the NFL. You mean that "present"??

If I were a Vikes fan, I'd be feeling pretty damn confident as well...

Who is the Sheriff? Is that what they call Peyton? Cuz that is a horrible nickname, and it makes no sense..

I totally agree.Chucky gave it to him on a MNF game earlier this year. All 3 guys in the booth are clowns. You have to listen to CARDINAL guys calling the game or you'll blow your 64" HDTV UP.They are so thin now I'm afraid I'll bust em'.

Peyton should'nt have his team get behind so many times if he does'nt want to have to keep coming from behind to win. Is'nt it easier to get the lead and hold it? Whats funny in the NFL is that the second one is not as highly thought of as the first is.Makes no sense to me.

I don't see anyone beating the saints this year just yet.Although I do believe in any given Sunday. Its just gonna have to be a very good day vs a very bad day for the saints.GOD BLESS Those folks that went through Katrina and survived that nightmare and are back rooting for the saints again. They deserve a title for once.Don't want any voodoo priestess behind their victories though.

Brees and his coach Peyton are mentally locked up like Kurt Warner was with our offensive coordinator last year.We miss him no matter what anyone says. The chemistry we had with those two would have just grown and grown. Now we've gone in a totally different direction that is just a lil' too passive and reluctant to go for the big stuff, like we did last season more often if at all.WE play way too close to the vest and not to lose than to go out to dominate to win.Hope that changes starting Sunday NIGHT!!!

I'm not sure I found anyone who thought the CARDINALS would win. Most think they should win by 18 to 3 touchdowns. This is one pretty cocky bunch.

Check out how many are coming and gonna be in the endzones in the lower sections. That makes me sick.
Who cares? What do you want them to say that the Vikings suck and are going to get crushed?

Yeah, I don't think those boards are any different than any other teams' board when it comes to confidence in a 10-1 team. This board would be the same way.

Give them their time in the sun. The franchise has earned it thus far.

The difference in cocky and optimistic is pretty big.Sorry you felt like you needed to comment. Its a message board here.A place you put messages for people to comment on.

An average of three touchdowns per person is a pretty big chip.Maybe they need to be knocked down a few pegs to reality. This is the NFL where any given Sunday Night anything can happen.

I'm also quite sure of the negative darkside that would be running around here if the CARDINALS were 15-0.No doubt about it.They would still find something to complain about around here.I'll bet you know just what I'm talking about huh?:D

The Vikings have a great record. They kicked our asses the last time we played them. And, the last time we played Farve, he killed us as well.

We're not sure who's starting at QB tomorrow. (Though I was happy with Matt's play last week and am feeling good that he got half the reps this week.)

I think I'd be talking some trash if I were a Vikings fan. That said, I hope we kick arse.

My post didn't mean to disparage your original thought. My point is that chances are nobody on the Viking's MB are playing in the game tomorrow and the team is 10-1 and it steadily improving each week. They can talk all they want, just like we can. Players play and fan cheer. I would expect nothing less from fans. That being said I think the Cards are going to win tomorrow. It's is going to be a very difficult and close game.
