Well, it kind of works like that in every sport. Richer teams get better players, you can't really fight that.

NBA atleast tries to even out teams, having the worst teams get the best players via draft and such, compared to, let's say, european soccer where for example in the Spanish League 2 teams (Real Madrid and Barcelona) have combined 51 title wins in the league history, and there's nothing you can do about it, because they can always make the best offer to the best players. And that is compared to 28 combined wins from everyone else, many of those from distant past. Money makes the world go round.

mojorizen7;2446964We'll all make of these numbers what we want to i suppose..[B said:
.i want changes from top to bottom. [/B]Owner,GM,HC,players and most importantly the philosophy.

If you really want to see Phoenix join the elite all you have to do is turn the metropolitan area into a Boston, Detroit, Chicago, New York, Philly kind of area. Or, you can luck into David Robinson and Tim Duncan and then build smart from there. I think what Phoenix has accomplished given the fact they are not and never will be one of the protected NBA franchises is nothing short of impressive. I want more but I can't help but appreciate what we've had also.
