Does someone have the COWBOYS game from THIS year (2008) on DVD - willing to swap? I'd like to have a copy of that game. I have a bunch of old Cards games from various years - might have something you're looking for if you want to swap ...

I believe I have it stored on Tivo(I'll check later) but as a alternative, you can watch any game from 2008 on NFL.com for...$2.95 I think. I keep meaning to try that service out since you can download any/all games from 2008 in HD quality.

I'd be interested in the 11/13/05 & 11/20/05 games if anyone has them.

Here is a screen capture(re-sized by ASFN) of what I was talking about on NFL.com(you can watch a free preview of the service but be warned, it's the last drive of the SB):

Yes, double checking would be the best way to go. From my brief exploration of the service I was pretty sure that, once signed up, you could download the games. If you can download 'em, I'm pretty sure you should be able to burn them to a dvd.

Okay, the site (http://www.nfl.com/gamerewind) reads: "full dvr functionality" but I get the impression that it is only streaming. They are likely mis-using the term dvr in this case. Also, a one week pass is $4.99(not $2.95). Be careful about signing up for a year long pass too. The experiation is a set date, not based on when you sign up for the service("+ All Access Season Pass subscriptionis valid through 3/31/2009.")

Edit II: I do have the Dallas game.

Thanks again - I'll check it out. I prefer to have the original game as broadcast. the NFL "re-wind" format isn't bad, but it loses something to me...I had that game on my DVR but it got accidently erased! pissed me off...I love re-living Cowboys thumpings every once and while - especially when my brother is over at the house. He's a Cowboys fan and I'm a Cardinals fan. This was a good year for me!

No problem, I'll be transferring the game to dvd but I edit out the commercials and have to put it on two dvd's so it will fit with the best quality. I don't have an HD recorder so it isn't a perfect transfer. The quality is still loads better than vhs.

That's exactly what I do .... I can usually get a full game on the 2-hour DVD mode - quality on that mode is very good to me, but it's not the "high quality" setting (that's 1-hour on my recorder) .. i don't burn anything on a lower quality than the 2-hour mode.

you can PM me or send me an email to '[email protected]' --

I will be GLAD to send you something in exchange if I have it -- I have a bunch...
