El Paso Times will honor high school athletes this year every week that you, the readers, help determine. We will take weekly nominations and release a list of finalists for the El Paso Children's Hospital High School Athlete of the Week at 7 a.m. each Tuesday.
Students in all varsity sports are eligible to be nominated. The poll will close at 3 p.m. each Thursday, and the winners will be announced Friday.
Nominations can be submitted through email at [email protected] or by contacting Felix Chavez through social media on X.

- Trinity Munoz, Montwood softball. In games on Wednesday and Saturday had a combined eight RBI and two home runs.
- Madi McMillan, Hanks golf. She won the District 2-5A individual golf title.
- Gavyn Perez, Americas golf. He won the District 2-5A individual golf title.
- Diego Romero, Americas track and field. He won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters at the District 2-5A track and field meet.
- Ajah Walker, San Elizario track and field. She won four gold medals at the District 2-4A track and field meet.
- Giselle Alcala, Americas softball. She hit a home run, drove in three runs and was the winning pitcher against Hanks. Against Del Valle, she hit three home runs and drove in seven runs.
- Alexia Martinez, Fabens track and field, won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meters in District 2-4A.
- Ariana Carrera, Franklin softball. She had six hits last week, including two homers and drove in her 100th career RBI.
