Feb. 6, 2004: The Suns held their quarterly all-staff meeting on Thursday and a couple of surprises were sprung on the more than 200 employees in attendance. First Charles Barkley spoke via telephone live from Atlanta where he was preparing for his TNT broadcast, to share his thoughts on his induction into the team's Ring of Honor next month. The Chuckster also chimed in on everything from his recent visit to the U.S. Supreme Court to the Janet Jackson Super Bowl fiasco. Then the entire Suns roster delivered pizzas to the group and handed out individual employee appreciation awards. Rookie Maciej Lampe was also presented a "brithday pizza" in honor of his 19th birthday and was serenaded by the staff with a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday to You."
