Want to know why you don't get respect?

Whatever happened in those blowout losses (and yes, they were UGLY!!!!!!!) has no bearing on what kind of football this team is playing now and you'll find that out come Sunday afternoon when your Eagles choke... AGAIN... in the NFC Title.

Play in your divison, we need nothing more, just like you. We won our way in going 4-1 down the stretch, and beating a divsion rival to get in. You lost your way in, and only get in because of the weak division.

Not really, because as I said earlier, your 5-6-1 also includes games against the Browns and Bengals -- two 4 win teams who each won a game against each other. And the Eagles didn't even beat both of them.

The only way they could have improved their seed was by going from 4th seed to 3rd seed. And that only matters if the 3rd and 4th meet up in the NFC Championship game.

Following the Giants game, the team was 7-4, but had already lost to both Carolina and New York. Had they won the rest of their games, they would have gone 12-4, but been the third seed. Meaning the only difference would be that the Eagles wouldn't have made the playoffs.

Instead, the Cards decided to take it easy, not run their full schemes, and happened to play three teams that needed to win. It was preseason to the Cardinals, the playoffs to the Eagles, Vikings and Patriots.

Of course, now the Cardinals know exactly what schemes the Eagles will run, but the Eagles have no idea what the Cards will do.

Oh, and the Eagles only had to go 4-1 down the stretch because they couldn't get it done earlier.
