Pace has the best shot, I think, of getting in 1st ballot.

Warner is going in on the first ballot. His TV work since then, with the way his coworkers always praise his career, makes him a shoo-in for first ballot. Not to mention he had the most unique path to greatness ever, it's going to be irresitible to voters as his stats, especially in Super Bowls, back it all up.

KW should be first ballot IMO. If for some reason he isn't, he won't go in the year after either because Farve will be first ballot.

Warner gets in easy. With everything going on in the NFL now they need a story about a Christian dude bagging groceries taking care of a herd of kids with his Christian wife who stood by his side when things were tough.

Warner should be in easy, but I wonder about 2 things:

His relatively short career.

East Coast bias. He made his name in St. Louis and solidified his legacy in AZ. Remember he stopped over in NY and lots of East Coast writers can't seem to help but bring up his NYG playing days when dismissing his candidacy. Like it outweighs everything else he did...

There could also be the Seau factor. He may get in before Kurt because of the sympathy factor. Although, I think Seau is HOF worthy too.

Seau and Pace are the only first balloters that I think are no-brainers. I think Warner will get in, but his supporters may have to do a little work on his behalf.

Warner is in easily.

He will get in, absolutely. He shouldn't get in first ballot though. Those are for the special, once in a generation talents. He wasn't that.

I got Warner at 50/50 to get in on the first nod, he's great publicity, a great talker, and had a pretty awesome career with the whole different teams thing.

How bad was he there? I never really followed him until he came to AZ.

He was not awful. He was holding the throne until Eli was ready. Then he was pushed aside. Eli will still praise Kurt as a mentor, but the fans seem to have forgotten.

Played 10 games. Threw 6 TD's and 4 INT's. Over 2,000 yards. 86.5 QBR.

Wasn't as bad as his last year as a Ram, but it was among his worst years.

The man deserves to be ushered 'in'. He took two different franchises to the Super Bowl.

My vote would be:
Warner
Pace
Seau
Tim Brown
Ty Law
Eric Allen

With good cases for: Bruce, Ottis Anderson, Bettis, James, Holt, Mawae, Mills, Bennett,

I was thinking the same thing. And he lead one of the worst teams (Cardinals) to the Super Bowl and had it won. Not an easy thing to do. We all know he will be in the HOF with out a doubt, but would love to see him in on the first ballot. Homer, but I would vote him in in a heartbeat
