That and Tampa moving at will on 3rd down.

Like when Tampa went on a 19 play drive that used 12 minutes and included 5 third down conversions.

That Tampa didn't score has to make that the longest non-scoring drive in terms of plays and time in NFL history. Somebody needs check on that because the Cards need some more records of dubious distinction.

Like their record for most kickoff returns in a season for instance.

19 plays, 12 minutes and no score: what a schizo defense we have.

Was that the drive where the wide open TE dropped the ball in the end zone, and the kicker missed about a 20 FG?

I believe you are correct sir.

Mr. Droppe D. Pass has been the strength of our secondary all year.

Yep. The advantage to that is that the offense had plenty of time to rest up before the next offensive series.:D

Touchdown music played for ten seconds until people realized he dropped it. Then when the FG was missed people had no idea what happened.

Look at Warners record since he became a Cardinal. know it's not all his fault but he is not capable of starpping this team on his back and carrying us to victory. Therefore he has to be a qb that is steady, accurate, and limits turnovers.
He is not that qb either.

Say what you will about Kurt but you are overlooking how great Kurt was in keeping their Defense on the bench. Maybe it's time for someone to mention to Kurt that he should think of changing his number on his jersey.

What is Leinarts record as a CArds QB? Does that make him not the guy either?

When did the team's record become a qb stat, anyway? I know people loooove pointing to it as some kind of an indicator of a qb's ability or lack thereof, but it really doesn't mean anything in that regard. The record is a team stat and to some extent, a head coach stat, but not a player.

I think ESPN started using this as a qb stat.

Don't get me started on how useless W's are as a QB stat as an indicator of how talented a qb is.

Warner is part of the problem. He is not THE problem.

Amen. There are alot of problems on this team that are apparent to the eye and I would bet there are problems (beyond the usual stuff) that we never see.

It is not entirely useless but it probably should not be the sole basis for one's argument either.

How much of the offense's struggle's can be attributed to familiarity? I keep forgetting that although the players have been together that they're all in a new system this year. Not to mention the carousel at qb, injuries to the o-line and tough defenses they've faced.

The more I think about it, the more it looks like these guys are thinking about what they're supposed to be doing instead of it being natural.

Since Urban seems to miss a lot of catches, why not play Breaston as WR. I know he is a good return man, but his speed could help at WR as well. He would give the Cardinals a deep threat or a break-a-way threat. At worst, he could just drop the catches Urban is dropping.

We wouldn't even have to worry about him waving for a fair catch inadvertently...

/sorry...just amusing myself. I have this visual of him running deep to catch a pass & waving for a fair catch. That'd be hilarious.

Almost as hilarious as a Pro Bowl WR running untouched towards the end zone and stepping out of bounds 30 yards short.

Warner isn't the problem.

Mulli is the problem. He was there. They lost. Can't be more clear than that.

I think most fans know what the problem is with the Cardinals.

Almost invariably poor ownership gets reflected in poor leadership and this gets reflected throughout a business. The end result is more often than not a bad product. IMO, this is the fans fate with the Cardinals. However, every fall I will check in to see if Lucy will let Charlie Brown kick the football. I just keep hoping. I plan for the worst and hope for the best. I guess since the ownership is not going to change I should just be happy to have NFL football in Arizona. Oh, but the dream of winning still lingers.

does anybody think that if all these dropped passes are caught (which they should be) then were not bashing warner. If urban catches all the balls he's thrown to....we might be 5-3

We have a lot of problems and just are not a very good team. I do not think we can blame any one person at this point. I think we have the right coaches now. I am not very hopeful about Graves as he is one of the "constants" in the continuing problems this team has in winning. I doubt there is any one player in the NFL we could bring in and make us any better than a .500 team. We have holes all over the place. Hopefully we are getting better but only time will tell. We will need as usual to sign a couple of good FA's and have a good draft. Apparently a lot of that will have to do with Graves if he is the real GM he says he is.

I thought since the injury his passes are not as sharp, seem to hang a bit longer and scare me to death. They are still on target (most of the time), but may be arriving just a tad late, giving the DB's time to line up their target and pound the heck out of our receivers.

Before the injury, he was firing the ball with much more authority. He had a real zip on his passes and was getting them off much quicker.

Anyone agree? Disagree?

Thanks

Clealy no QB is going to play as good with one arm hurt as when no arm is hurt. He was doing well until the injury. As many have pointed out perhaps the big mistake at QB was having only two to start with. Wonder who made that decision? Coach or Graves or both?
