Was flying back from NY yesterday (Newark), and was walking through first class into the land of the great unwashed, and noticed Kurt and his wife!
After we landed in PHX, I was standing in baggage claim on the phone with my dad, telling him I rode down with Kurt and his wife, when they walk up and stand right next to me waiting for their bags.
I gotta say, Kurt looked to be in top physical shape. He had a tight t-shirt on and shorts, and it was very clear the dude has spent the off-season getting ready. He looked extremely fit - not an ounce of fat on his body! I was actually suprised to see just how ripped he looked as I always thought he was one of the more "soft" QB's in the league...

It was cool to see that he didn't have some huge possy waiting for him... He and his wife were just like the rest of us, picking up their bags and taking the elevators to the parking garage...
Man I hope we see a lot more of Kurt and less of Matty this season!!!

I thought the same thing, but last year in Seattle I was watching him warm up sans pads...dude is in good shape--even last year. I don't think being ripped is new to this year for him.

I saw him last year at a Cards celebrity dinner. He was looking very sharp and very fit, not to mention one of the nicest guys you ever met.

Check out some of the pictures of him throwing the ball from last year. The veins in his forearms are larger than the total forearms of an average man.

We got the paragraph. Glad we didn't get the picture.

I hope we see a lot more of Matt this year. Actually I hope ML plays so well, we don't see much of Warner at all.

I'll fix that...

His wife has a decent face, but a very odd-shaped body... Thin on top and a bit wide from the waist down... Her feet seemed out of proportion to the rest of her body as well - larger than they should be...

How's that?

Warner's wife was once a BAM (Broad Ass Marine). As a fellow Marine, she's a Goddess in my eyes. Those of you who don't like her obviously have no appreciation of fine women.

If the corp inspired that god-awful haircut she sported a number of years ago than the equation balances out. :)

Didn't know she was prior service though. That's pretty cool. Mama's a Marine, Daddy plays pro ball. Sweet legacy.

I'd like to see Warner high-fiving ML after some good plays; hopefully the force of Warner's gesture doesn't dislocate ML's shoulder

I've seen some really bad play from Warner. Leinart to me is allowed some mistakes but for the most part has done well considering he is very young.

Both of them have had the same o-line and coaches. But two things stick out.

The fumble vs the Rams when we had the game in the bag after a much needed d-stance and turnover. Warner fumbled the snap. He tried blaming it on the center, I remember lip reading the center saying, "you dropped the ball". Warner had that look of failure and it's not like I have not ever failed. But to not have a sense of accountibility is heartbreaking.

I seen a game (on tv) when Warner was playing and doing well vs someteam I can't remember. Leinart was a cheerleader and very happy, learning and soaking it in. Warner came off the field and totally ignored Matt. So much for respect. A glance, a wink? something would make me proud of Warner.

The reason for Warners success last year was the 0-line fellas. You can make due of playing thru injury if you want, but there was a reason why we used 4 QB's last year.

I have to disagree with the ignore factor-

I sit three rows behind the bench on the fifty and I watch Warner and Leinart all the time and if Kurt isn't patting Matt on the behind or shoulder and always talking to him the whole game, he is there for him!

Am I reading this wrong? Do you think the line was good or bad?

One of the reason we used 4 QBs last season was missed blitz pickups that injuried Leinart and Warner. I lost count of how many times Kurt made a crucial completion just before getting nailed. Every Cardinal fan should hope Matt comes on like gang busters, but Kurt had a terrific year last season, even considering the fumbles and interceptions.

Not only is this a horrible thing to say, but definitely not anytype of response or observation you would expect from a heterosexual male.

Warner is like 50 (kidding) so he has to be the hardest working guy on the team just to be there.

Also, if we can curb the detailed body descriptions of the men on our team I would appreciate it. This is a family message board you know.:)
