I think Denny got what he deserved with a stupid decision once again this season. Just like last season the team seemed to rally around Josh and play better. So in Denny's brilliant mind he benches Josh to start a has been.

Right. We would have dropped 34 on seattle if McCown was in there.

The 'Rally around" thing is lame. This isn't Pop Warner. The team sucks no matter who is at QB. This is just a bad team.

I don't know what would've happened if Josh was in there (probably about the same ... maybe a little better) but having Warner gift wrap 10 of those points didn't help.

Like I've said before until the OLine is fixed it doesn't matter who plays QB

Amazes me how Josh fans see how bad the QB plays when its not Josh. When Josh plays veryone around him sucks. I mean the man should have his scrotum cut off and bronzed so his fan club can take turns putting it on thier mantle.

I think Kurt had a pretty bad game with some of the better protection we have seen.

Doesnt make Josh good either though.

Come on? You have to be kidding yeah the team sucks but Warner makes us suck more. He had 4 turnovers and what like 5 sacks .... he does NOT give the team a better chance to win period.

Like I said the team sucks no dought about it, lots of things need to be fixed but Warner does not increase our chances to win.

Bash Josh all you want and we all know the OL sucks but Warner stinks, he's done and there is no reason to play him anymore.

I never said Josh would have done any better, but I do think he would have done better than 4 turnovers and 5 sacks.

We may as well keep playing Warner because McCown will not be back next year. Does anyone believe that he won't test the market this offseason and sign with another team?

McCown is history in Arizona. Let's just accept it.

I agree with you there Renz Josh won't be back he is gonna go to a team where he gets a fair chance. He must be tired of being jerked around here by Green.

Dont forget McGinnis. McGinnis never recognized the sheer brilliance of Josh McCown either....

If Coach Green does any cutting next week and its not B.J., and entertain any questions regarding changing Qb again, then he should be fired.

This is not all about personnel, coaching seems to be a major problem with the Cards, too.

lvdcardfreak I sense some sarcasm! I never EVER said Josh had been brilliant but anyone who is a cards fan can see that he has been jerked around in his time in AZ. Never has gotten consistant playing time in one system always changes going on here and poor coaching does not give anyone a chance to develop. I would expect him to go somewhere get proper coaching and develop into a decent if not good QB somewhere. And once again someone will thank the Cards for giving away another skilled player.

I agree with you but it's pointless. Josh is done here.

We've all said our peace, the rest of them blamed everything on Josh, just sit still and watch them explain the mounting losses on Josh's failure to properly hold the clipboard at the correct angle.

No Green shouldn't do that.

If he cuts BJ, we are going to have a multi page thread about how losing a sub-par WR is going to hurt our 'depth'.

Then if BJ has a half decent game down the track, we will have a couple of threads about 'how we should of kept BJ'.

Maybe. I dont think so, but maybe.

If 4 + years of coaching under two regimes isnt enough and he still makes bonehead plays, I just dont think we reward him with a multimillion dollar contract to be our "QB of the future"

Other than he can play basketball, point out to me what you love about him so much? Please tell me what I am not seeing.

Well Warner does flat out suck. Not only did he have 3 Ints 5 sacks and 1 fumble. He also had 6 batted down passes at the line.

He also missed numerous open WR's during the game. Josh has been no world beater to be sure. But he certainly cant do any worse than Warner.

As to Renz comment that we might as well play Warner because Josh is gone? Where proof of that? That is speculation at its finest. I could just as easily say we might as well play Josh because Warner is gone and I would have just as much shot of being accurate.

What we got is a backup QB for the bare minimum... That is what we have plain and simple... We won't get anyone else as cheap... For that reason, If we don't go and get a Franchise QB, Josh will be back next year too....
