McCown vs Tennessee
12/28 for 140 yards, 4 sacks, 1 TD, 1 INT
McCown vs Dallas
16-33 for 161 yards, 3 sacks, 1 TD, 2 INT
Warner vs Seattle
29-48 for 334 yards, 4 sacks, 1 TD, 3 INT
As far as sacks go, McCown is no more elusive than Warner.
McCown hasn't even completed 50% of his passes the last two starts, Warner completed 60% today, and that was without Boldin playing.
Warner's timing seemed off and he was rusty because of the layoff. The INT's are too many, but really the third one was in garbage time, down by 14, when he basically had to force something.
IMO if you look at the numbers, like it or not, Warner does give us the best chance to win.
While I think it is a weak arguement for either QB at this point.. exactly how do you come up with the notion that Kurt gives this team a better chance to win based on those stats? Also I like how you left out the stats for Joshs other 2 starts.
Again the "best chance to win" arguement is laughable on both sides. My point remains.... Warner is not the answer... Josh has not been the answer, but he is the younger guy that can mature into the position. If Warner were any more "mature" he would be in a nursing home!
