Well Warner does flat out suck. Not only did he have 3 Ints 5 sacks and 1 fumble. He also had 6 batted down passes at the line.

He also missed numerous open WR's during the game. Josh has been no world beater to be sure. But he certainly cant do any worse than Warner.

As to Renz comment that we might as well play Warner because Josh is gone? Where proof of that? That is speculation at its finest. I could just as easily say we might as well play Josh because Warner is gone and I would have just as much shot of being accurate.

You aren't serious are you?

Josh is going to get paid too much to stay here as a backup, he aint gonna be the starter, on that I'd make a large wager with you if you'd like.

Josh should be back as a back up before Warner. If we lose Josh to a bigger fair offer then so be it. But I just don't get the play Warner scenario what does that accomplice for this team, he was and experiment and it FAILED badly so lets move on. If Josh plays badly the rest of the season then let him go. My point is simple Josh is young with ability and could turn into a QB Warner has proved he is done.

Why do you assume josh will command a huge contract? Thats laughable at best. He could be signed to a decent cap friendly contrat that many experienced B/U QBs have around the league.

Why would I make a wager when the odds of either QB being here are identicle!

I am willing to bet Josh gets more money than what could reasonably be determined to be backup money.

Someone somewhere thinks they can fix him and will give it a shot, Jake Plummer pretty much will give them the sack to do it.

It wouldnt surprise me either. But there is no proof that any team will.

Mnay QBs in this league have turned out damn good after more yearsthan Josh hashad.

This is a stupid argument. Josh didn't play so nobody can state how he would have done or how the team would have done. Kurt had a bad game behind the OL's best performance of the year.

Denny is going to stick with Kurt...I feel pretty confident in that.

Forget the Josh crap until denny waffles again and goes back to Josh. Then we can discuss it again.

Warner's biggest mistake was trying to keep Johnson in the game. I think he forced some throws to Johson just to give him a chance at redemption.

Not that anyone's going to cut Warner any slack, but weren't there 2 lineman and 2 wr's playing in new situations today as well as Warner and Ross coming back from inury. And without Boldin. Does any of that matter?

Nope. Thatw as one of the better blocking perfromances of the year. WR's were getting open. New guys dont cause 6 batted passes etc....

Give Navarre another shot. He's the only guy who MAY have a future in Arizona.Josh stinks and will be gone.I don't care what anyone has to say. That's just the plain truth, accept it.Warner looked pretty bad today and is not the long term answer. But,it was his first action in about a month.Still, he looked hesitant.

I don't believe Warner played well today but you aren't going to get anywhere with pointing out some things that may have contributed. It is sad but some of the McCown supporters really hoped Warner would play badly. Not sure how you get to that point but some actually root for Josh over the team.

I'm not trying to get anyone to think Warner didn't make any mistakes but has he played with the same personnel in each of his games this year? There were some bright spots for the offense though. The long pass to the TE was pretty nice (before the penalty). The perseverence on the td after Johnson dropped a td. The running of Arrington. Fitz. The o-line play in general.

Overall, the offense didn't look too bad and seemed to be able to move the ball. I think the biggest mistake was giving up on the run. If Warner or McCown have to throw 45+ times in a game, the Card's aren't going to be winning. But, as opposed to McCown over his last couple of games, there were real positive signs of the offense coming together.

I can't argue with the the sentiment that the year is over and it's pointless to play someone who won't be here for the next 10 years. It's true, Warner won't be in the league for 10 more years. Other than that, even with the turnovers, I think if you look at all the other factors, Warner played well enough to show he's an improvement over McCown.

I'm a fan of starting Warner over McCown, and even I'd say that really, really debatable.

I don't think there are that many of whom you speak, I got the same feelling in my gut when we were only 8 points behind as I always do, that brief glimmering of hope, anxiousness...

Then pfffft.

I don't care if Charles Manson is the QB I am going to root for the Cardinals and hope some fan offs him after the game if we are playing well while he's in.

We need to start the big stiff from Michigan

he will be the only QB that is on the team next year and i think its time to see what he is made of.

We have no chance at the playoffs and we have more injurys then a M.A.S.H. Unit

I Love my Cards, but man i am going crazy with this team. More then past years 2

It is starting to get to me :(

I agree not many but some. At this point I am not sure either are the answer but I am positive we have other problems contributing to this poor offense.

The Oline played their best game of the season today. This loss falls on a bad defense and Warner having a poor game.

McCown is history, please stop talking about him. Stop chanting that you want his sorry skills in the game. STOP JOSH JOCKING. He sucks, he's proven suck. Warner sucked today too, but he did things Josh couldn't do in his dreams. The defense sucked today too...great time to fall on your face D.

If you want to come at me with an argument for why you want Navarre to start the rest of the season, then fire away. I'll listen. You've all worn out your welcome with the Josh excuses though. Goodbye, and good riddance to Josh. Kurt has more of a chance than Josh at being here next year, so I don't want to waste any more time with a lost cause.

Please specify?

Or did you mean have 6 tipped balls, 3 Ints and one dropped Int, Stand there like a statue and take 5 sacks, Or could it have been him missing wide open WRs roaming around the field? WHat was it exactly? Could it have been his fluttering no zip football?

The oline didn't lose this one, IMO. They played well enough to win.

Best game of the season for them. Opened running lanes and also did well in protection for the first 3 quarters. Loss is primarily on the D, SECOND on Bryant Johnson who had a TERRIBLE game and whose flag on the amazing TD took 4 points off the board. Then the blame falls on Kurt for making some throws that he KNOWS he shouldn't have thrown.

Warner looked pretty bad.

I'm not sure he's a viable option for 06'.

Three ints and another lost fumble. Really, really disappointing.

Here are stats from NFL.com for our last three games:

McCown vs Tennessee

12/28 for 140 yards, 4 sacks, 1 TD, 1 INT

McCown vs Dallas

16-33 for 161 yards, 3 sacks, 1 TD, 2 INT

Warner vs Seattle

29-48 for 334 yards, 4 sacks, 1 TD, 3 INT

As far as sacks go, McCown is no more elusive than Warner.

McCown hasn't even completed 50% of his passes the last two starts, Warner completed 60% today, and that was without Boldin playing.

Warner's timing seemed off and he was rusty because of the layoff. The INT's are too many, but really the third one was in garbage time, down by 14, when he basically had to force something.

IMO if you look at the numbers, like it or not, Warner does give us the best chance to win.
