I love that this is a debate on here and a point of discussion. Seriously, everyone here had to know there would be games like this when Kurt was named the starter. My biggest complaint with him was I felt like the team would win or lose based on the defense, not our offense. Warner is the type of QB that can hurt a defense. We all need to realize that this will happen from time to time. I am more concerned with yet another poor road game by the defense.

By the way, 5 seconds is too long also. 5 seconds is just as bad as 15. That ball should be out in 3 seconds.

Totally agree. It's on Kurt. I just didn't want to read next year about"that one play where Kurt Warner had eight seconds". Now the play where he threw the pick 6 - he probably could have sat back there indefinitely.

Your stop watch is broken then. Look at the stills he has posted game clock in the center of the screen is very clear...5 seconds.

To be fair the old Al McGuire discussion comes into play. The 12 could be at the very beginning of 12 when it just turned over from 11, and the 17 could be at the very end of 17 when it's about to go to 18. That would make it essentially 6 seconds so you could easily see where someone with a stopwatch could get 7.

Either way he should have thrown the ball away.

I guess. The game clock and the video timer both show a 5 second difference, but it's possible. The only reason that I was bringing the pictures into play was that when I timed it, it was 5 seconds. Plus, the first pic shows everyone still in their stance and the second picture doesn't show right when Warner got hit, it's after and the ball is loose.

Life is a little slower and less hectic up here, but I never, to this point, knew that even our clocks are slower. Sort of explains why we live longer, or is just an illusion?. As said: The stopwatch indicates 7 seconds from snap to hit, but, let's just say it is Canadian time.
