And all it took was bringing in Gortat so Frye could be moved from Center to Power Forward, where he belongs.

Not referring to tonight's blow-out but, have you noticed that, Gentry has been back to a 10-man rotation lately?

Lopez/Gortat, Frye/Warrick, Hill/Pietrus, Carter/Dudley and Nash/Dowdell.

I like it.
I like the other rotations but I hate that one. I guess we don't have a better choice though....

Why does Carter play so bad unless the game is nationally televised against an elite team?
1) Because he's Vince Carter.

2) Because he knows he'll be playing somewhere else next year.

My prediction is he's gonna explode tomorrow cause its against Utah, and its on ESPN.
When Carter does explode, it is usually in the first half, which is why we have been blowing so many leads in the 4th quarter.

But we should beat them anyway cause their emotionally drained after Sloan resigned.
I think it will be just the opposite. The Jazz are going to play their heart out for Ty Corbin. Especially Deron Williams, whom the Front Office supported in his feud with Jerry Sloan, which is why Sloan resigned as Head Coach one day after signing a 1-year extension.

It is really hard to believe that this is the Suns first win this season by 20 points or more. It would be interesting to know when was the last time the Suns went this many games into the season without having a game like that. But it came at a very good time as Utah awaits tomorrow, and with a new head coach they may play inspired as often happens in the first game after a coaching change. The Suns need to be ready for that.

Gortat isn't playing as well as a few games back, but I think he's also not seeing as many minutes, especially with Nash. The Suns need to be careful in their effort to get Lopez going not to lose whatever effectiveness they found with Gortat and Nash together.

Is there a clause in Vince Carter's contract that stipulates he will only show up against quality opponents? I suppose we didn't really need him tonight and he didn't play many minutes, but I still would rather see him at least appear as if he's trying. We have Childress on the bench sitting out and waiting for his chance.

I think that even with Dragic coming back soon, Dowdell may prove to be valuable on those nights when Dragic is struggling, which he's had quite a few already this season. The question is, will Gentry pull him out of the game and insert Dowdell in those cases? It's hard to say because we haven't had a third point guard for some time now.

With this improvement Frye becomes a very valuable commodity. Gortat is quite valuable now too. Hopefully Lopez can step it up some too. Big guys bring a premium in trade even if we don't keep them.

Frye might be the best production per dollar PF in the league right now.
