Amare had good def. play and got the rebound, right to Nash who found Dudley for +1. That's good to see!

Think it is obvious that Amare is lacking confidence right now and is rusty... He will need about 10 games to get back to being his old self at least.

another sequence of great Amare defense, block then causing TO, leading to fastbreak +1 by LB!

Frye looks like he should fit in very well with the Suns. If he could just average 7-8 boards a game he'd be perfect.

Wait til Amare gets back into shape. Frye is going to be even more deadlier.

Nash and Hill look more like 26 and 27 than a decade older. But yeah, I'm curbing my enthusiasm since it is the Warriors. But still, if we continue to have collective efforts on the glass, once Amare gets himself back into shape I think we have a chance to be better than most people expected.

Loving our bench squad too. Lou and Duds are exactly the type of guys you want to have coming in.

The positive of the game is that we played defense and didn't get into trading basket bull we used to under DA. With GS, that always gave them the chance to come back into the game with their athletism and firepower.

Good game by the Suns. :)Too bad Nash couldn't get 20 points to go with his 20 assists. :(It's nice to win the home opener particularly in a pretty comfortable way. :)

Yeah, I think Amare's biggest probelm is his conditioning right now. He looked like he was breathing pretty hard midway through the 1st qtr.

Overall not too bad of a game.... They missed a TON of FTs though...

channing frye, wtf , a 7 foot center bombing threes like that is awesome. you can get a lot of centers out of the paint so amare can do work down there like this.

Got back from the game.

The Good-
Love the intensity on defense. Very few lapses on defense.
Nash 20 assists. I had to reread the scoreboard when I saw it at 14 early in the third.
Loved that Gentry was quick to insert Clark in the game.
Outrebounded the Warriors

The Bad-
Missed too many free throws. (From players we aren't used to missing a lot)
Too many turnovers 23!!!!! (I know some of these were for offensive fouls but still!)

Obviously neither list is comprehensive but wanted to give a little feed back.

Nice win. Nash with a big game. Hill and Barbosa looked good again. I wonder if JRich will be able to match Barbs' scoring when he comes back. Good to see Amare getting a few easy buckets in this game, but the turnovers are still a concern. Frye was great shooting the ball, but the eight rebounds were just as important. Hope he can maintain that. Dudley and Amundson again strong off the bench. Dragic also had a nice game.
