I don’t know. They just destroyed the Knicks/nets on back to back nights. They played pretty damn well in those games.

This is what is encouraging. The Suns methodically beat those teams without being seriously challenged and they haven't even revved up the engine yet.

I expect Deandre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson and Landry Shamet to play much better down the road. Chris Paul hasn't even played his best basketball.

The last 2 games were probably about their 2 best this year.

That said, I still see a lot of room for improvement.

Crowder, Shamet, Ayton, and the two Cams are all playing below their potential.

I hope the suns players see this garbage.

The disrespect for AZ teams by the national media is off the charts.
First time Reddick has said something I agree with. And he's still not better than Salim Stoudamire

Interesting fact from NBA.com:

Schedule strength through Week 6

  • Toughest: 1. New Orleans, 2. Cleveland, 3. Houston
  • Easiest: 1. Utah, 2. Phoenix, 3. Golden State
  • Schedule strength is based on cumulative opponent record, and adjusted for home vs. away and days of rest before a game.
To be fair part of the opponent record being poor for both the Suns and the Warriors has to do with teams being 3-17 against us and 2-18 against the Warriors. In other words a part of the easiness of the schedule is because both teams are so good.

Screamin’ A is a fool.
Yeah I have no idea how someone can say a team's window has passed when they just made the finals, got better in the offseason and are currently on a 16 game win streak...

Also to his comment about "would Steph have stopped the bleeding". First off I don't see why he is bringing Steph into that series and secondly I seem to recall Steph having a very poor series in the 2016 finals when the Cavs came back from 3-1 down and Steph averaged just 24 on 36% shooting in those last 3 games (17 points on 6-19 shooting in game 7).

The Suns haven't even kicked it in gear yet this season. They aren't playing anywhere near their best basketball.
It’s so ridiculous. To say our window is closed….Steph by himself isn’t winning a series against Milwaukee…they didn’t even make the playoffs last year. Keep the doubt coming, let’s just play Suns basketball. If we win tonight, people are gonna say the Warriors aren’t at full strength. If we lose, people will say “See, they aren’t on GS’s level.” It’s so annoying. Damned if we do, damned if we don’t.

Ayton is playing pretty much exactly as he has his last two careers. not sure why people are expecting some kind of improvement that will be all that noticeable. Shamet is who he is. The Cams can improve and hopefully so can Crowder.

i think we can get better shooting 3s, which would help, but I don't see a lot of improvement coming from Ayton.

These two upcoming games against the Warriors doesn't prove anything either way. It's too early.

I guess the media wants the ratings and something to talk about.

Yeah, I think putting Paul on Curry is a recipe for disaster.

I honestly would feel far more comfortable having ayton guard Curry and Paul guard Looney than I would Paul on Curry.

Paul is just to slow to keep up with him - and that is why if you have been paying attention Paul is often guarding forwards this year.
Yup I’ll bet Paul is on Poole. Book on Wiggins. Bridges on curry. Crowder on green. Ayton on looney.

And I agree they’ll try to get Ayton and even crowded on curry.

Ayton and mcgee are going to have to own the glass and do damage inside tonight.

Pretty great warm-up act with Knicks-Nets.

Man, Durant is so damn good. That’s the ONE thing this Suns team is missing is the assassin who can get a great shot anywhere, over anyone.

This game better not go OT. I’m itching for our game to start!

I think that was goal tending and a foul by Knicks on Durant.

The Suns are the better team, probably by a respectable margin. They will win tonight, and over the course of the season, assuming no injuries.
