I'll be at the game (got free tickets for test driving a Kia) so hopefully it'll be better than the Houston game I was at last Friday. I watched a little bit of the Sac-GS game last night and the Warriors look like they're playing better since they got Baron Davis. The Suns should win this one as long as they don't underestimate the Warriors (the 1st sub-.500 team they've played in a while).

I'm bracing myself for the inevitable tirade against the refs. When will DA learn that Nash and Q NEED some time off to get completely healed - this team ain't playing anywhere close to the level of the 31-4 club because it's just not healthy right now.

Oh - and Amare - you know - you CAN get a rebound in the second half!

Bad loss.

It's also interesting to me that as the season wears on - excluding the Detroit game where we had a GREAT 4th Quarter - we are getting worn out at home for some reason - happened against Dallas before the break, happened against the Celts, the Rockets and now Golden State - not a good trend by any means.

Big roadie coming up - I'd like to see us go 4-2 on it but would settle for 3-3.

Similar to the Rockets game: the Suns got tunnel vision on offense down the stretch and stopped making any effort to defend the paint.

But also, a Ceremony Game is almost always a loss. It's one of the surest jinxes in the NBA. I think it must be that the home team players lose their focus during the ceremony, or something like that.

Embarassing loss. Right now, the Suns will be lucky to make it out of the 1st round. I sometimes find it hard believing we've got the best, or equal best record in the league.

We're not that good.

The Defense is shocking! We basically live and die by the outside shot, which isn't gonna cut it. Until we learn to play D on a nightly basic we won't make it out of the 1st round, because teams will make their adjustments and i fear we don't have a plan B to escape what teams will bring at us...

If you play hard defense, every night, you've always got that to lean on. If our 3's are falling and mid range jumpers aren't falling, we're basically f*cked... because we play sh*tful defense... and don't run any plays... except pick and roll!!

I'm mad as hell! We honour one of greatest Suns of ALL TIME!!! and the players play like absolute ****!

Shame on you Phoenix Suns!

Nobody's saying much..... I guess when there's not much good to say, it's not worth saying. GS played well, Suns were FLAT. I sure don't like what I've seen the last four games even though we won two of them. Suns are playing like a first round exit.

Best part about the game was seeing Cotton honored.

You know, a game like this bugs the hell out of me too, but this team is certainly as good as their record. It was a let down, and it should never have happened.

But Baron Davis was on fire, which made it tough. It should never have been close, but they made the shots down the stretch, the Suns didn't. Rebounding and lack of defense aside, there was no stopping Baron Davis tonight. Add in Derek Fisher playing like a legitimate NBA player early on, and this one didn't look good from the get go.

Not saying this is acceptable, gotta defend the home court. But look at that Golden State roster...it's not too shabby, and strong where we're not. Rebounding especially.

I don't know about that, but I am getting sick of this team getting abused on the boards - when was the last time the Suns out-rebounded somebody?

I agree Green, GoldenState's roster is improved. Just really dissapointed that we can't take control at home. Being Cotton's night, it's a shame the guys couldn't get the W.

Intra-squad scrimmage?

Um, short memory much?? We outrebounded Denver handily in our last game...

Denver were extremely small without Camby. Kenyon Martin and Najera were the ONLY bigs who played that game. And Najera is hardly a big foward.

The rebouding should be improving.

Please reassure me how much better our bench is with the addition of McCarty and Jim Jackson. Golden State's bench outscored our bench 39-10.

I need some vagueness here because I've seen some young talent leave the Suns with little so far in repayment. This is ridiculous. Tell me how Zarko, Jacobsen, Lampe and Vroman are young inexperienced players that couldn't have helped the Suns as much as experienced players like McCarty and Jackson. The Suns bench is pathetic and there is not much hope for the future now that these young players are gone for practically nothing. Does anyone think that McCarty and Jackson might be key players in the Suns winning a Championship? Yes, I need some vagueness here because it's all coming back too clearly.

Q played like he is still injured. I admire his perserverance.

So what? If you're going to criticize by implying we never outrebound anyone, maybe you should write the caveat that you mean "except when playing undersized teams"...

J-Jax had an off night, it happens. McCarty didn't play much, so I can't comment there. But alot of the reason the guys we traded are playing well is because they are getting regular minutes. There is no way that would have happened here. It's a double edged sward. You don't play them til they're good, but they're not good until you play them.

Well, if the only example of us outrebounding a team is against Denver & Kenyon Martin, we're in trouble.

McCarty went off hurt. Acquiring JJax was a smart move but McCarty does nothing to improve us.

I believe we could have gotten the same production out of one or two of these young players we traded off. If we give the veterans playing time they should produce and their production has been mediocre at best so what have we gained? Couldn't we have given those same minutes to one of our former young players?

I'm sorry but McCarty and Jackson were obtained by the Suns to produce now. I really wish they would suddenly turn it on and prove me wrong. I certainly thought Jackson would be a more consistent player.

My bad....upon further review, we also outrebounded San Antonio's JV squad this month as well.

ridiculous. Casey Jacobsen and the other scrubs would have never produced and added to this team what JJ has. I bet you were one of those people who freaked when Big Jake left town. Good grief.

I was hoping to see more time for Zarko and Lampe early in the season. Those two guys had something that can't be taught, size.

Now the Suns have Hunter, Voskuhl, and Shirley. JJ and McCarty have been great but this loss added to the Houston game is just really ugly.

I hope they pull it together for this road trip. It is the last big one of the year.

The Suns really shot the ball poorly all around. Amare & Shawn were the only guys scoring and even they missed some close shots. Baron Davis & Derek Fischer were on fire. I was surprised the Suns were ahead by 1 going into the 4th qtr. I actually thought the game was pretty evenly officiated. The Suns just laid an egg all game long and in the 4th qtr especially. The bench was horrible and we lost whatever lead we had when they came in the game.

Poor game the Suns played like we will be out of the first round. :( Not sure why we don't get Bo in at least to help on D.
