Did anyone see how boldin acted after we didn't go for it on 4th down after the fumble recover? He was wving his arms as he was going off the field and then sat down by himself and was shakin his head and wavin his arms. No one would go near him for a few minutes and then only King approached him. From my seat he was open quite a bit today but Josh wouldn't look his way. I think he was upset most of the second half becuse they wouldn't throw to him while Josh was throwing into coverage or to Jones who wouldn't catch the ball.

Did anyone else see this?

I noticed on TV that he looked mad the entire second half. With our sad QB
play for most of the season, wouldn't we all be pissed.

boldin and b. johnson were both pissed about the play calling. For the entire second half they would walk off the field shaking their heads and would go to the north end of the bench and sit there away from everyone. I agree with them that the playcalling was terrible.

Esp when Josh would lock on to Fitz for 3 straight pass plays then Josh would then lock on Jones and then on BJ. The time that Josh would throw to Quan it was horrible passes. ugh.

Bolding kicking and screaming

Definently Boldin was pissed. Seeing him on the sideline after ther 3rd down play and not going for it on 4th down, watching Bolding come to the sideline and in Greens face for a second, kicking and screaming, but of course Green ignoring him and seeing Bolding sit by himself on the bench still screaming his head off. I would be to with that horrible play calling,

That's not the way to act if your gunning for a Fitz type deal. They might put him on hold to see what happens next yr.

I'm sure he's just as frustrated over that - the contract situation, and him not being thrown to enough.

Sorry Green doesn't have the power to sign people to big contract, that will be the Bidwills and Graves.

I'm guessing Coach has quite a bit of say in the matter.

That said, I think the play calling was atrocious and the players had every right to be pissed about it. I like seeing them angry, even after a win, because it shows that they think they can be better, and desperately want to be.

Yup just look at Shelton and Thompson.. They will be gone. Coaches choice.

Think Boldin yelling is bad for his contract? If he was smart he wouldnt sign a thing until he finds out if Josh is starting next year. If he is he may just go through the motions until he can escape to a team with a real QB.

Green was keeping it conservative on purpose.

Coach Dennis Green didn't see the need to take chances. His defense was playing well, and he had watched his offense commit turnovers in the red zone too often this season, he said.

"We lost four games this year by a field goal," he said. "Every one of them we had a turnover in the red zone. Today wasn't one of those days."

McCowns terrible play has an effect that goes well beyond wining and losing a game. It effects players morale. It effects our ability to retain and acquire players and it brings into question just what is management thinking. There is just no way I see McCown as a starter next year and I question whether he should even be a backup as you expect a backup to perhaps be your starter in the future. You can bet the players let Josh know how they feel in one way or the other. It may just be by body language or other things.

With the way JOsh was playing DG had to play it conservative. It's obvious they have no faith in him to deliver in the redzone.Otherwise, they'd be attacking.DG was reduced to playing Jim Tressel ball, don't turn it over, take the FG, and let the defense win for you.

I sit about row 16- 45 yrd line behind our bench and he was steamed! He and Fitz show their frustration of our bad QB play and Josh not even looking their way, he was open several times and Josh didn't see him. Please bring us a good QB next year, I do not want to go through another year of watching Josh.
