Suns up 95-78 after the 3rd quarter. :) Suns 55% with 5/14 3 pointers, Wizards 49% with 4/12 3 pointers.

Suns have committed 6 turnovers (Nash with 2), Wizards 10.

Suns have 10 offensive rebounds, Wizards 8.

Suns have hit 20/26 free throws, Wizards have hit 10/11 free throws.

Great 3rd quarter from the Suns. :)

A foul is not always a foul in the NBA. If one team is up significantly, the refs swallow the whistles so the down team can catch up.

Nice play by the starters to get the lead back up to 18 in a couple of minutes. :) Suns up 118-100 with 2:11 left in the 4th quarter. :)

Nice battle by Siler for the offensive rebound and he eventually puts hit back. :)

Very entertaining game! Nash was at his two-time best.

Yay!!!! Suns win 125-108. :) Good win Suns. :)

Great offense from the Suns after the 1st quarter and good defense in the 3rd quarter. :)

Lots of exciting/flashy plays. :)

If one wasn't watching the game closely, the similarity of the pronunciation of the names of Wizard players was disconcerting. Who scored for the Wizards... was it Yi, Gee or McGee. :p

Solid win. I think this may be the first game this season where the Suns held a double-digit lead throughout the fourth quarter, although the starters were still forced to come back into the game late when the lead was cut to 12.

What to do about Warrick and Barron? Warrick is easily our best (and pretty much only) interior scoring threat and pick-and-roll finisher, and he could give you 20 points every night if given the minutes. Tonight with 26 points off the bench. But he makes mistakes defensively and doesn't rebound as well as he could, although he had 6 tonight. Barron, on the other hand, plays somewhat better defensively and rebounds better, but has no offensive game. What's the use of six offensive rebounds if he missed easy follows on five of them?

He would be a good backup for Nash. ;)

Steve outplayed him tonight. Check the stats.

You don't need to check the stats, Nash is still a better player than Wall. Wall will be a great PG in a few years but Nash, when healthy, is still one of the best in the game. If we can figure out how to keep his minutes under 30 per game, at the most, perhaps he can play like one of the best at the end of the season also.

Steve
