Clifford Robinson is being sued in civil court by at LEAST the second woman he has knowingly given Herpes. The link above only has a video feed. They contrast this case to Kobe's in that it is basically getting zero media coverage. This guy is out of control right now. Seems like the Suns got rid of him at just the right time. Oh, she is suing Robinson for $20 milllion!!!

This may sound cold however, I don't think that she should get a dime. Unless he raped her she has some responsilbility in this day and time to demand protection. I'm an old school person that didn't come up in the condom age. Our safe sex was knee pads and a padded headboard . But nowadays things have drastically changed.

The problem with demanding protection just like in the case a few years ago when a women was rapped she made the perp. were protection thus giving consint to have sex and the guy got of scott free of Rap.. Now that is just WRONG>

I disagree. If she can prove that he KNOWINGLY had this STD, and didnt prtect himself, then he's guilty of reckless disregard. Im no lawyer, but thats logical to me.

Well first of all, from my understanding of herpes, any kind of real physical contact can spread the disease. It's not like AIDS, where you can put a condom on and pretty much be safe. Herpes can be spread just by kissing. Unless Cliffy protected himself by covering his body in bubble-wrap, there's not a lot he could've done. And if those two girls requested that of him, he probably would've made that cry face he used to make at the refs when they called him for a foul. No one wants to see that.

I'm relatively confident that he knew he had herpes before he fooled around with these two ladies, so in that sense, he is guilty of "reckless disregard." I'd say, however, that that's worth the two ladies maybe prank calling him a few times in a row really late one tuesday evening so he can't get a good night's sleep. Maybe they could even let the air out of his tires on his Escalade or something. Either way, it's outrageous to sue for $20 million. I could be wrong, but it seems to me like the woman was just searching for a reason to not have to work again for the rest of her life, and she finally has an opportunity to make that happen. She has a right to be angry, but come on.

Actually, I am almost positive that precedent has been set stating that if a rapist is asked to wear protection, and does so, it is not considered consent.

Whatever happened to personal responsibility?

Sure, Cliff should tell any woman willing to sleep with him that he has herpes, but in the end the women chose to sleep with him.

She should be expected to absorb the personal responsibility of being a ho, but its ABSOLUTELY Cliffs responsibility to inform any and all partners, regardless of how well he knows or cares for them, that he is infected with an STD that is easily transmitted and you get to keep for life.

Sure this woman is a ho, and 20 mil is step, but in terms of who's in the wrong here its 100% Cliff Robinson.

I personally think both of them were 100% wrong and she shouldn't get a dime just because cliff robinson is who he is. If he made 32,000 a year do you think she would try to sue him for 50k? (Since 20 mil is more than cliffy makes a year, I put 50k)

Hell I would sleep with Robinson and get herpes if it meant 20 million.....maybe this chick is on to something
