We are about to go on a 4 game winning streak

a) there is NO CHANCE IN HELL this team finishes with a 7-9 record. We're the worst team in the league for a reason and now we've got a QB controversy between our 5th round rookie and a guy who literally was doing the same thing I was last week... sitting on an f'ing couch.

b) a four game winning streak against the dregs of the league would only accomplish what Josh McCown's miracle TD did... give us false hope and probably force out brain dead coaching staff to pass up on a franchise QB... AGAIN.

Let the team rot, give the owners and coach no excuse to get rid of the DC and bring in a new OC and see what we can do next year. This year's lost, but all hope is not.

Note: I did not say I would like this prediction.

I see it as a wickedly nasty way to completely screw us over in fantastic directions - fools gold QB situation, drafting mid round instead of blue chip territory, coaching thinking they are on the right track, fan base feeling better despite the mirage - thus it has a high likelihood to come true. We've done the whole "blown top five draft pick" thing already. The curse wants to pitch us one hell of a curve ball.

Beating the Donks will be step one, then they will take out Carolina on the road only because they suck, then the Cowboys at home because it's the cowboys and that's how it goes.

Then they will get revenge on the 9ers, and the defense will atone for not making it to the game on MNF.

We will draft in the 9-13 range.

It's the NFL hard at work. Christmas Day, an old rivalry and two teams that are 3-12? Isnt' going to happen. So the Cards crush Denver and will also destroy Carolina next week and Dallas wins vs Washington and the Networks have a story to sell.

The resurgent Cardinals and their longshot rookie QB vs the resurgent Cowboys with their new Head Coach. A sellout for sure and 10 times the rating they would get otherwise.

We kind of own the cowboys in recent years...kind of bizarre. It will be a last gasp.

And dude, the Niners are a terrible team. Even worse than we are. The defense didn't even show up for that MNF game. When nothing matters anymore, we play our best.
