I don't care what the final outcome of this game is, we are the worst team in the league. It's making me sick to even watch the rest of this "game".

I disagree on the "Worst," but we are damn close.

It seems like your doubts will be erased when we play the Texans.

If we lose this 49er game AND the Texans game, we are undoubtedly the losers of this year. However, the Jets, 9ers,Texans, Green Bay, can't touch us in longevity of sucking.

WE ARE THE SUCKIEST BUNCH OF SUCKS WHO EVER SUCKED!!

During the Steelers/Bengals game, they put up a poll asking:

"Who might upset the Colts as the season wraps up?"

No one
Tennessee
Jacksonville
San Diego
Seattle

At first I thought "Did they forget the Cardinals?" Then I realized they probably eliminated them on purpose. :|

Not the worst this year.

But definitely the worst of all time.

Sad thing is, as bad as the Cardinals have been, they haven't earned the number one overall pick in the draft since the 1960's. They came close twice, within 10 seconds of the top pick in 1998 and the top pick in 2004, but they ended up winning. And both picks turned into Mannings.

Part of the reason why they are the worst team of all time. They can't even lose when they have to.

Our play calling might be the worst in the NFL... But our talent is top 15 for sure in my opinion.

Believe it of not....

We were ranked 12th in total offense (probably going to gain a spot or two) going into this game and ranked 19th in scoring. That's our best totals on offense since 1998.

The team played hard, JJ is showing a little spark, we win back-to-back road games for the first time since....... I'll take it at this point.

Yep and the defense has the injuries to use as an excuse. 3 picks on the rookie today after a month with no picks.

This team has talent, we MUST fix the OL and get a run stuffing DT but we're really not all that bad. Must get better depth too.

I see a light at the end of the tunnel and at least for now I don't think it's a train coming at me head on.

We are what we are. A team that will probably finish 5-11, and talent-wise, closer to winning a couple more than fewer. The issue is simply filling a few holes, and then playing better (and smarter). Sounds stupid, but it's really the truth.

There's no way we drop below the Jets, Texans, and Packers at this point, IMO.

Also, the Cardinals beat Tennessee and played Jacksonville close. Well it should prove to be an interesting game. The Cardinals have nothing at all to lose, but have the chance to be the spoilers of the century. With Kurt Warner playing in a dome, who knows, maybe theres a chance, however small.

I figured "no one" to be the Cardinals.

That is the respect we have earned in this league.

Yes, we can get there in one offseason. But, we've said that before, haven't we?

We were ranked 2nd or 3rd in passing offense in the NFL going into the game. Wilson leads the league in sacks by a DB. I think Wilson could go to the pro bowl and either Fitz or Boldin or both.

This quote from tonights AP story on the game hits the nail right on the head:

"In an ugly matchup between two unsightly teams, Anquan Boldin's stumbling, staggering run through the 49ers' inept tackling was a fitting way to decide it"

I agree with your post.

Denny, seems to be a good evaluator of talent, but he seems to be a poor motivator, and a poor play caller. Also, IMO, he doesn't manage his roster well. IMO, he made a "steal, drafting Arrington in the second round of last April's draft, but the kid got few oppotunities until the season was all but over.

He is great come draft time yet when it comes time to apply his talent, he is lost. its very very strange.

At least the Cardinals have a strength to build on, where Pre-Boldin there was nothing. The Cardinals need to shuffle their coaching in some way whether or not it involves Green. Then they need about 2/3 of the draft to be linemen on both sides of the ball. Throw in a power runner that can block, perhaps a tight end. The Cardinals will finish 5-11 or 6-10 possibly and probably wont get a chance at a franchise QB worth the pick.
