WE are not all that bad. We need some luck. Injuries killed any chance we had this year. Or offense is getting better each game and the D played well this weak. Yes it was the niners but still. I think we go 8-8. I can dream can't I?

We are certainly not the worst. Have you watched any other teams beside the Cards? Explain to me how we can beat the worst when we beat the same team twice in one season.

This whole thread is ridiculous.

Clearly we are not the worst team in the NFL by any measure you care to use. Many of the teams with worse records than us are doing it without being decimated by injuries as well.

It's clear we are worse than the 49's, despite the fact we swept them this year.

Last time I checked, the Cards have been in just about every game that last several weeks. The team didn't get some of the lucky breaks they got last season (like all the turnovers), but they are equally competitive.

Sure, there are still problems like O-line, run stopping defense, discipline, etc.

Been a tough year. Most of the games have been ugly with a lot of penalties and stumbling and bumbling by both teams involved. But the worst part is knowing that, despite all the foul ups, the Cards could have beaten St.Louis and Carolina at SDS and if Detroit falls apart one game earlier we're 7-5.

This quote from tonights AP story on the game hits the nail right on the head:

"In an ugly matchup between two unsightly teams, Anquan Boldin's stumbling, staggering run through the 49ers' inept tackling was a fitting way to decide it"

That's garbage. Quan was not stumbling and staggering like some drunk in an alley. He was running through tackles and advancing the rock like he always does. Have these clowns ever watched him play before this game??
