Do you want us to sign Joey Porter? Because he is just about the same level of "thug" as Ray Lewis.

I hate Porter as a non-Cardinal, but love him as a Cardinal. Equal Opportunity hater.

BTW I honestly believe we've gotten better by adding more thuggishness to the roster. The choirboy days of Ferguson/Tobin/McGinnis produced guys like Fred Wakefield, Pat Tillman, and Kevin Kasper. I'm ready now to get torched for adding Tillman, but dude was not a great player. I'll take Adrian Wilson over him every day of the week and 10x on Sunday. :D

Shane, I never said that the Ravens fans were hateful. I said the Ravens team is hateful, led by none other than "The Thug". Their fans are arrogant & classless. Why do I say such things?? Maybe because I experienced it first-hand. Two years ago, I was there to watch the Cardinal / Raven game. I am NOT a loud or obnoxious fan, especially on the road. I had my older son Justin with me & my then 6 yr old son Joey. I had 2 weeks prior had a heart procedure done. I was given strict orders by my Doctor & WIFE to be on my best behavior. At halftime, without provocation, some drunken, classless RAVEN fan spit on my 6 yr old. A grown adult spitting on a 6 yr old. Shane, what would you call that?? When I stepped in, 5 or 6 of these rednecks came to his rescue. Justin was still up in his seat or it would have been a bloodbath. I have never felt so helpless. As a former bodybuilder/powerlifter, I am not a scrawny guy. But, because of my condition, I was forced to gather my stunned kid & walk away. The beer must have been cold, because we had numerous altercations throughout the day. You should ask my now 8 yr old son what team he dislikes the most. The Ravens!! We've been to Pittsburgh, Washington & even Philly and not been treated like that.

Justin lives in Maryland and goes to quite a few Raven games per season. I'm sure he'll agree that their fans are everything that I have stated. Furthermore, I didn't say anything hateful about Dansby, Rolle or Boldin. Is "turncoat" a hateful word? They chose to leave my Cardinal family, so I'm leaving them. Why would a Cardinal fan hope that they are successful elsewhere? The sports media would continue to belittle our franchise for letting them get away. I'm SICK of that crap. I hope Dansby makes 1 tackle all year. I hope Rolle gives up 65 td passes & I hope Boldin catches 3 passes. That's not hateful Shane. Hateful is what happened to my family on a sunny September day in Baltimore 2008!

+1

The day Boldin started whining and became a major distraction was the day I stopped being a fan of him. Do some research and you will find that my brother (Redrage) and I were THE FIRST PEOPLE PIMPING HIM ON THIS SITE! We were convinced from the moment we drafted him that he was going to be a stud.

Boldin was my favorite player on the team until he started whining and skills declining. I find it beyond hilarious that Ravens fans are expecting him to be a #1 receiver, stretch the field kind of player. Anquan is best in the slot and Ravens STILL need a big time split end/flanker.

Like PA said, he chose to leave us willingly. I look at this like I look at a divorce, and the fact that he said on his way out that management lied to him and all that crap just shows what kind of person he is.

I wont go out of my way to watch him play, but will be happy for him when/if he does well there. But if he's playing against us at any point, then no, no cheering.

I would think that the classy thing to do would be for ALL Cardinals fans to stand and cheer when Q us introduced the next time the Ravens come to our Nest.

Having said that, however, I am a little tired of Q continuing his badmouthing of our franchise. He got what he asked for, a trade to a contender, and a contract extension. He was NOT mistreated by this organization, although his plan to get more money out of us after he signed his first extenstion fell through. He and his agent took a gamble that backfired, (after we spent big money on Fitz), and to me, that is on him, not on our franchise. Its over and done with, so he should let it go now. He played hard for us, and I will show him that appreciation the next time he comes here to play, but that is all I am willing to give after that.

What makes cheering for a former Cardinal classy? I hope that doesn't happen; I would hate to play for a team and have my hometown fans cheering when a player from another team takes the field.

I would boo him like I boo every other non-Cardinal. Our role as fans in the stands is to make noise that demoralizes the opposing team, not lifts their spirits.

Will not cheer Q.

He is an ex-Cardinal so he is not longer one of us.

I used to think the highest of Q as a Cardinal player, but after walking away from the team after the big game I will never look at him the same.

I don't wish any ill will on any player that leaves, I just erase them as one of us and go forward. They are no longer Cardinals so they are no longer important to me.

you all did bring up some bad memories

i too remember him trotting off the field during the nfc championship celebration but that and his contract disbutes are miniscule to how many times i have seen and type QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ, after some amazing td or run after the catch
he gave me way more good memories than bad and we got the best out of him for 7 years
baltimore will get lucky to get the level of play we witnessed here out of anquin for more than a couple of years he ain't getting any younger and he has taken a lot of damage due to his style off play
but heres to ya Q hope you never win a lombardi but thats about all the animosity i would carry against you

Please stop with the Q nonsense. Once he left the Cardinals, he became "Boldin".

I will definitely root for Q as long as he is not playing us. I already like the Ravens more than any AFC team because their defense is nasty, they have two ASU studs in Heap and Suggs, and to top it off their jerseys are badass. I told myself that if Q did get traded I'd love to see him play for Baltimore because his style of play fits the team's style of play perfectly and it just so happened that's where he went. As for Dansby and Rolle, I could care less how they play.
Same for me here...I'd want to see us play them in the Super Bowl every year if it was my choice.

I turned on Joe Johnson from the Suns, who was also my favorite, but for now I still think highly of Q. I won't ever be forgetting his great moments here, which did greatly outweigh the bad. As long as he doesn't go too far with the comments he will be my favorite all-time player.

Anquan who? Don't see anyone of that name on the roster. He's not a Cardinal so he's just some schmuck off the street to me!

I will cheer for immense personal success for Q in Baltimore, and if the Ravens do well, I'll smile a little bit.

But when you are 99% obssessed with this team, its likely I will spend more time analyzing the back up Guard rather then check what Q is doing in B-more. But I wish him the best of luck.

I was watching NFL network last night, and it was called "the week in review"
Almost half the show was on Q, onthe field, being interviewed etc; The reason I know is I tivod it and when I fast fowrded it there he was over and over again. I love the Q man but I could watch that show. He was saying how much he loved the Ravens etc and so on. I have had enough. I hope he does well, but really don't care much anymore.

Huh, because I thought you just said this:

Cut the nonsense & bs!! Hateful would be if I wished him to be injured or something bad to happen to him. I'm NOT rooting for anyone that is not on our roster, END OF STORY.

Absolutely....He has become the opponent. I wish him no ill will but I DO NOT cheer for the opponent, ever. In my little NFL there are Cardinals and there are the opponents, its why I can't play fantasy football. :)

there are a myriad of players who went to other teams we all know who they are and as far as i was concerned they fell off the face of the earth after leaving the big red'

but to me Q is different he brought us so many proud moments and played the game with unparalleled passion i will find it hard not to root for him raven or not

unless of course we meet in dallas at the big game

so are you still rooting for Q as long as it doesn't affect us?

Q is gone and is history. Wish him well. We have other things to think about.
