I had a chance to read some Eagle forums the past couple days. The majority honestly believe and compare Nick Foles to Peyton Manning and LeSean McCoy to Barry Sanders.

:biglaugh:

Yeah, good luck with that. Cards will win and then what will they say?

I might actually get to go to the game this Sunday. I buddy of mine won a ticket through a contest at work and he expects one of the other winners will not be able to go and he will snag that ticket for me. Fingers crossed.

Normally I wouldn't go but this ticket would be for one of the luxury boxes so it will be inside and I'll be protected from the idiot Eagle fans. Big Props to those of you who are "brave" enough to sit amongst the maniacs, just not my cup of tea.

Latest Philly weather forecast:

47 and scattered showers (30% chance) 4 mph winds.

Just an update on this. It looks like the biggest chance for rain right now is early morning (prior to 10 am). It looks like the chance for rain drops to 0% after that.

PFT's Predictions:

Cardinals at Eagles

MDS’s take: This is a surprisingly great game. The Cardinals’ defense is playing tough, physical football, while Nick Foles and Chip Kelly have the Eagles’ offense rolling. In a close game with playoff implications for both teams, I’ll take the Eagles at home.

MDS’s pick: Eagles 28, Cardinals 24.

Florio’s take: Former Eagles defensive coordinator Todd Bowles comes home with a much better defense, and one of the hottest teams in the league. Chip Kelly never saw an Arizona team like this when he was at Oregon.

Florio’s pick: Cardinals 27, Eagles 20.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/11/27/pfts-week-13-picks-4/

Anyone who regularly reads that site knows Florio has no love for this franchise, but he's been riding our bandwagon lately.

for some reason this team usually has phillys number most of the time....

I may be drunk on kool aid ...or high,...or just plain stupid today..... but I am thinking we will blow the iggles out this week...like 35 to 10

If we win, especially by that margin, get ready for a parade of positive press. The lights will be full on blinding.

If we can run the ball like we did in the first half against Indy, I think we'll probably win.

You guys remember the last night game in Philly?

Wasn't pretty and led to a lot of the "worst playoff team in history" stuff.

But the 2008 Philly team (which lost the conference championship game) was probably better than the current version.

And, our current year defense is at least a little better than the 2008 version. So, those two things alone give me hope. This defense will keep almost any game competitive.

But I have an uneasy feeling about this game. I don't like the fact that the Philly crowd will be half in the bag by 7 pm, and raising hell. They're playing for the playoff lives also...

Don't think its a very good spot for us.

If we can run the ball like we did in the first half against Indy though, I think we'll probably win.

The NFL didn't move the game. Kickoff is at 1pm EST

I like our chances. We are going out on Friday and the weather should be calm in the upper 50's! Our Offense is on a roll and they have nobody to defend Floyd! Our Rb;s should have a field day. That means we will control the clock. If we control the clock we will win. If we don't turn the ball over we will win.

If we all think about winning we will win! Happy Thanksgiving! Winners.

Where are you getting upper 50's? We're looking at 50 at best but more than likely upper 40's.

Laugh all you want but their running game is averaging 150 a game so they are pretty good on the ground.

#1 rushing offense vs the #2 rushing defense. A great matchup for football fans.

Shady McCoy is the closest thing to Barry Sanders that I have seen. And with the early start and the 40 degree weather, Combined with a ton of our main guys being warm weather guys, this game scares the crap out of me.

But is he? I wouldn't crown him as the greatest like most Philly fans do.

This. I hope our guys come out fired up and not flat. We need to get on the Eagles early and fast.
