Since I am the official rah-rah guy I say 20-9 cards. The defense carries us to victory, and DS although not spectacular he doesn't do anything to lose the game either.
Mike I hope you make a quick run to Nawlins for another voodoo doll cause I'm not feeling it. Stantons terrible, Niners are gonna stack the box heavily & CJs out. Luv #31 but I don't think he's gonna be enough to lead us to a W.

Teams or players with a lot of pressure on themselves many times try to do more than just their jobs & mistakes happen when not focused on the details & small things. That scares me.

Stanton has to target san francisco defensive backs then there is a chance he can score a td pass

Ignore the haters Stanton, just remember that you are better than Skelton and Anderson!

Of the 76 quarterback with at least 450 pass attempts since 2008, both quarterbacks rank near the bottom in passer rating and completion percentage, according to ProFootballReference.com.

Here’s a look:

PASSER RATING (out of 76)

68. Blaine Gabbert, 72.0

69. Rex Grossman, 72.0

70. Marc Bulger, 71.2

71. Derek Anderson, 66.5

72. Drew Stanton, 66.5

73. JaMarcus Russell, 66.2

74. Brady Quinn, 64.5

75. John Skelton, 63.0

76. Jimmy Clausen, 61.9

COMPLETION PERCENTAGE (out of 76)

69. Blaine Gabbert, 56.0

70. Tyler Thigpen, 54.3

71. Brady Quinn, 54.1

72. Jimmy Clausen, 54.0

73. Drew Stanton, 54.0

74. John Skelton, 53.2

75. Derek Anderson, 52.3

76. JaMarcus Russell, 51.8

If our puss rush, and that is what I call it it, does not get pressure, even the 'Gift for Gab' is going to chew our ass

If you honestly think DJ and AE will get the ball all night and limit DS to 12-15 passes; you've already lost.

1. SF will absolutely load the box and try to make DS beat them - They know what BA is gonna try to do
2. if DS cant hit the intermediate passes with accuracy , we lose this game

Make no mistake DS will have to play a good game for AZ to win

Wrong, DS has to manage the game and hardly play good unless our defense totally tanks to the power which is a fickle Gabbert Chip offense... seriously, stuff them early and put on points and we could feed on Kelly's stupidity but we do not have Palmer to pull this off in such a way

I'm tempted to take one for the team and add Stanton to my fantasy football roster, but keep him on the bench.

That would guarantee that he would go off for about 300 yards and 3 TD's.

In three of our four games played , our BLOCKING AND TACKLING has been a failure . One could argue that poor blocking is the main reason our QB is concussion protocol !These last two games saw the Bills and Rams do a better job of blocking (on offence) and a better job of tackling (on defense) . Some say we can beat the Niners with Stanton , I say we can't beat them with any QB if we fail to win our fair share of the Blocking and Tackling in this game tonight . I still believe we added talent to this team during the off season , but we seem to have slid down the slippery slope on MOTIVATION , this is game Five and we had better snap out of it NOW , or it's going to be a very long season .
