This weekend our team, stadium, and us fans go on to the national stage! Lets send a clear message that now-and in the future- teams do not want to come here to play. PROTECT THE NEST, Playoff Style !!

The best "new" 12th man advantage in the NFL !

Who cares about the freaking roof already?

Roof or no, its the fans that make this place loud.

Worry about making your neighbors loud instead of arguing about something as trivial as a roof.

Donald was fired up for the Seahawks game. I'll be ready evenmoreso on Saturday.

I'm going to be bold and speak on behalf of all those that can't be there:

Those of you lucky enough to be going to the game have to be twice as loud as you normally would. You're carrying us with you.

Thanks for reporting how fired up Donald was. We were all wondering. And thank you for telling us how to feel about the roof and pointing out that an arguement was taking place about the subject. It's amazing that you are able to figure out that the fans are what makes it loud and that the roof has no impact contrary to popular belief. We will all now focus on making our neighbors louder.

DDockett made some comments yesterday that were, um, interesting. Said all the fans have to bring their A-game on Saturday, just like the players.

Then he rambled on about the "bandwagon" fans - the ones that like them one minute, boo them the next minute. Said the players were doing this for the "loyal" fans who've been with them thru-out. And those "other fans ... we don't care too much about them. They can do what they want."

Boy, that's gonna piss off some fans.

A lot of us do and a lot of us have the common sense to know that the place IS LOUDER with the roof closed no matter how much you fire up your neighbor.

It is MORE of a home field advantage with it closed than open. Our freaking starting QB in the game has a preference for it to be closed and has said as much.

So whether you you like it or not it IS a topic of discussion even though it doesnt match your views.

Yawn...

Not when it has gone as far as people saying that our QB doesn't play well because the roof is open..... (yes it has been said)

For the record, I never said that the topic shouldn't be up for discussion, it just doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Stats don't lie. If it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things why bring it up?

-1 (I think that is DCR internet language for I disagree)

When you say this "Who cares about the freaking roof already?" Thats basically saying **** about it already IMO.

People that say that about Warner are silly yes. But still it really doesn't matter. It CANNOT EVEN BE ARGUED that the stadium is louder with the roof closed. The louder the better on opposing offenses. The more homefield advantage you can enjoy and the more false starts you can cause the better for the team as whole.

I didn't bring up the roof, AZCardsWin did. I commented about it. Reading comprehension has never been your strong suit.

That's not what I said, or what I implied. Your opinion is noted, but that is not what I meant. Roof or no, this team and these fans need to be fired up.

The people in the stadium are much more important in comparison to the roof being open/closed.

Exactly my point. We can control us, we can control (to a certain degree) our neighbors.

btw.. did I miss lamp? Is this another cheesebeef battlecry?

IMO that's all hype. How many false starts/penalties did the SeaHawks oline have yesterday? It wasn't that loud and the roof was open. It's when they see the Cards line up in a blitz that they false start.

Not hype at all. If its all hype why do teams specifically generate noise in practice to try and replicate it? Its annoying to the offense and it makes a difference. Havent you ever watched a football game where the crowd was SOOO loud the refs have thrown a penlaty on the home crowd?

Those false starts yeterday had nothing to do with the crowd you are right. More to do with a very inexperienced OL with no continuity on a team with nothing to play for. Their head just isnt in it.

After the lackluster MNF game vs. Niners (which in retrospect won the Division), the "turkey" bowl in Philly and the embarrasement in Foxboreo iut's time we shut up the critics and national media. Atlanta is favored to win at AZ - c'mon Cards fans, rock and roll the nest! I can't wait to hear Cris Collingswortheless and others after we romp.
