the suns roster is loaded on paper.....but the problem is shaq is past his prime. nash is starting to look that way at times. amare's game is inconsitent in terms of defense and rebounding. and j-rich is a great talent...I haven't seen a lot of him over the years. I know he has played very well at times with the warriors, but I've known him to be a streaky player. but that might just be me not seeing him play often enough.
then you have to combine that with getting them all on the same page at all times....like the suns used to be with nash, amare, marion, etc. they may not have won a title but they played together and won consistently. you also have to look at the fact that every night there are other NBA teams with star players galore. and when those guys play with more emotion/passion in all aspects of the game....it usually tells the difference.
