Oooh! MadCard fires both barrels squarely at my chest!

I dive for cover behind a horse and return fire with "If dewayne white is so great, why will he be sitting around in Round 2?"

Sorry, I couldn't resist! :D

Actually I doubt that White will be there when the Cards make their second pick. I tend to agree with what you basically said in another thread, there will be about 12-14 defensive linemen drafted in the first round.

The advantage of Dwayne White is that he has the potential to develop into a full-time DE. Antwan Peek will be a 245-pound Leonard Little type situational player his whole career but will be a better pure pass rusher.

I totally understand the difference between the two and it's just a matter or personal preference. Both are excellent players.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Leonard Little an every-down DE?

Tyoka Jackson played most of the run downs at LDE. Little did get a lot of action, though, not all of it just in passing downs. he really gets blasted against the run, I think his best value is as a specialist. Peek should be a similar player. I mean he played at 240 for a lot of his senior year. i don't see peek becoming a useful 3-down player at that size.

Thanks. I thought Little was an every down player.

Ditto-Not taking Leftwich if he is there.

1. If we took anyone other than Suggs with our sixth pick if he is still on the board.
2. If we don't take a defensive player with our #1
3.If we take a QB in the first five rounds that isn't Palmer, Boller or Leftwich.
4. If we take Doug Gabriel in this draft.
5.If we took an OL in the second round other than either Faine or Johnson.
6.If we drafted a TE or FB in the first four rounds.
