I like Bryce Petty better than both MM and Crabman. Hold on before crucifying me.

He is big and sturdy and can move under duress. He throws a beautiful long ball and is not afraid to throw it. Although he is a "system" QB, he can and has worked under center. Qualified good character guy. Has worked under Art Briles in an offense first team concept. He has a grasp of offense from a read and react point of view. He has a QB brain. Gruden should have fun with him.

MM is a system QB also but does not possess either the long arm or accuracy that BP does. If he does not adapt he will become Bobby Griffin/Michael Vick part 2.

Crabman has way too many issues and loves to throw picks. BP has neither trait and is just as physically imposing. I look forward to watching his combine performance and I seriously doubt MM or JW will participate, so screw them. :)D).

I really like Bryce Petty's toughness---that says to me he has a chance to be a good one. The problem with him is that he often doesn't make it look pretty. He wobbles and slightly underthrows a fair share of passes, which is bound to make the scouts leery. But, Petty's intangibles are very good. Humble kid---gym rat the way BA&SK like---strong-willed and eager.

BA made it pretty clear they are not looking at qb position in the next draft,he said they have 2 great qb and a young qb that is going to be good.
maybe he was just trolling

Yes---and then he and Steve Keim say they are always looking to upgrade and add depth at every position. That said, i do not think BA&SK would be that high on Bryce Petty anyway.

He did just throw for 550 yards in a loss. I think that stat right there qualifies him as a potential Cardinals' QB. :D

in 2 years he threw for over 8000 yards 61 td and just 10 interceptions

I think you misunderstood me.

I like the kid and he has impressive numbers, but check out this list of Cardinals' QB's and their yardage from losses:

Neil Lomax: 468 yards in a loss
Neil Lomax: 457 yards in a loss
Jake Plummer: 465 yards in a loss
Matt Leinart: 405 yards in a loss
Kurt Warner: 472 yards in a loss
Kurt Warner: 485 yards in a loss
