What amazes me is Josh Allen. Maybe I’m remembering incorrectly, but I seem to remember hearing how he wasn’t accurate in college and the Bills were nuts for drafting him so high. KM is light years from the QB Allen is.
I also remember articles about how obsessed Allen was to improve and become a better QB. Allen was willing to put in the work to become a top notch QB. Our guy on the other hand thought he was already there coming out of college.

What is fascinating is that it worked. Inaccurate QBs usually cannot become accurate no matter how hard they try and how much work they put in. The gains are usually minimal. And Allen had this problem big time in his first few seasons. Yet he managed to turn it around. He worked with a QB whisperer and changed his mechanics, and managed to become the player he is today. An amazing story.

I searched for pre draft rankings of that draft. Only found maybe 3 or 4 rankings and one of them didn't have Allen in their top 25 rankings and another had Rosen as top QB at like #3 ranked in the draft order. Shocked me!

I remember it stunned me Allen was taken in the top ten that year. The write ups at the time said he was a huge risk.

The only thind I'd look to add to the skill positions this offseason is some speed to replace Dortch. A low round WR that can punt return and handle the gadget crap and I'd add a starting calibre Vet WR that Kyler can lean on to replace Pascal.

I'd love Kyler to have an Adam Thielen type player. I can't really see much in FA. Maybe JuJu? Maybe Brandin Cooks if he takes a massive pay cut.

The Cardinals would never admit it, nor should they, but I’m sure they thought they would have gotten more production out of MHJ’s rookie season. That being said, he’ll make a major jump in year 2. As he gets stronger, he’ll become a major force in the red zone, and that will free up McBride to score touchdowns. We need to continue to bring in and develop young linemen, especially on the interior, so Murray has more time for chunk plays to develop. And adding speed to the WR room is an absolute must. We need some quick strike potential, as it’s too hard to continue to have 13 play drives all the time. NFL defenses are too good at disguising their schemes for those long drives to go error free.

Except the game is in Seattle. Still not much chance they win, agreed.
Overrated. I posted a couple of weeks ago that they are .500 at home and .500 on the road since the start of 2021. Now, after the last two games, they actually have a losing record at home and a winning one on the road.

Ok, What would you add??

Offense is pretty set IMO.

TE group is set.
RB group is set.

MHJ needs to develop. If he does there is a good #1 WR with a solid number 2 in Wilson. Adding a super WR would mean giving up on MHJ or Wilson. Are we ready for that. Depth is needed for sure.

OL
Center is set with Froholdt and Gaines as a back-up.
Tackle is set depending on Beachum coming back or retiring and Watkins development.
Guard.. I wouldn't mind using some of all that cap space on a quality to upgrade Brown, but Adams is still developing and Hernandez most likely will be brought back. LG is seriously the ONLY starting position where I would upgrade. (4 of the top 5 Gs per PFF are Free agents)
I know what you are saying and I would agree that the parts mostly look good enough on paper.

But they aren't in practice. Our offense is not explosive in the least. Personally I mostly blame that on coaching, but some of it has to go on Kyler as well.

We need an upgrade at #3 WR as well, someone with some speed.

Told people all offseason that 2023 offense + MHJ isn't going to fix things. They are still inherently slow. MHJ should be your 3rd fastest WR honestly. Real speed on offense would change the dynamics and make life much easier for him.
