I’d argue the Colts was worse considering they were better than that Vikings team & we were also better than than this Jags team. Not to mention, this was close, not like a stomping that JAX gave to Indy.

That one is probably worst since it was a 30 yard toe tap on the last play of the season against the worst team in the league.

We were going to get the first pick in that draft and had 2 wins if not for that play.

And that Vikings team started super hot to begin the season and ended up 9-7. Better than or at least equal to the Colts team.

2? Already had 3 wins prior to that game.

But at least that game ended up competitive. The Colts got whooped from when the game started.

Nothing beats the Cards losing to some scrub undrafted QB last year starting his first game.

It was like losing a playoff game to Ryan Lindley.

I think the Vikings’ loss was worse. Started the season 6-0 I believe, but then lost to all four teams who ended up tied with the worst record at 4-12. That last game also had a successful onside kick and three fourth-down conversions in the final two drives, if memory serves me right.

Ah... I thought that game got us our 3rd win.

Either way... the Vikings still thought they were going to the playoffs for 59 minutes and 59 seconds in that game. They lost on the last play of the season. There’s nothing worse than that.

Wanna know what really makes it worse than that?

The fact the Colts gave up their first rounder to only end like that while the team that received the first rounder made the playoffs.

You have to hope Vance decides to keep it simple and just come after Stafford and that the offense can get a lead and keep Stafford having to pass. Kyler just needs to have the game we know he can have and not the one he has had lately.

Bracket Cupp. Put Stafford on the ground. Defend the screen game.
I think we got this.

Maybe the loss could be one of those blessings in disguise. We have a lot of things highlighted from the Seahawks game to work on and it could really focus the mind, plus getting back a few more players hopefully. (Looking desperately for silver linings)

Oh also, we are the only team in the NFC West with a 1st round pick in 2022 ;)

What makes you think we can, or VJ is willing to, do any of that? What makes you think the hidebound VJ will change anything in his rigid system to make adjustments like bracketing Cupp?

So are we going to double Kupp and hit him at the line with someone behind?

Or ignore him and let him catch every ball thrown?

VJ makes me scratch my head so much with his soft zones
