Did you see the list of teams that went 4-0 in preseason last year

1. Pats (SB Champs)
2. Eagles (NFC Championship Game)
3. Tennesee (Conference Champion)
4. Arizona (4-12)

Which one do you think was a fluke?

First of all someone needs to get their facts straight. The Eagles went 2-2 not 4-0. Next Buffalo, Jax, SF all went 3-1 was that the reason they made it to the Playoffs(just a heads up since you thought the Eagles went 4-0 neither of the 3 teams made it to the playoffs)?

All of these playoff teams had less then stellar preseason records, Ravens, Dallas, GB, STL, SEA. went 1-3 made it to the playoffs. Look at past years and you will see the same thing. For example in 2002 Philly was 1-3 and they were one game away from the SB.

So you are telling me NE and Indy getting there butts kicked this week will predict what they do in the regular season. Using preseason standings to predict how the season will go is like using a Latoya Jackson Psycic hotline, it doesnt work.

So?

In 1998, when we went to the playoffs, we had a preseason record of 2-2.

From your reasoning it looks like the Patriots and Colts have no shot at doing anything this year because they both got their asses kicked in a PRESEASON game tonight.

We may suck, we might be good. I won't base how good we are going to do in the REGULAR season on how well we do in the PRESEASON.

Say it with me now...

Preseason games don't mean anything! Preseason games don't mean anything! Preseason games don't mean anything! Preseason games don't mean anything! Preseason games don't mean anything! Preseason games don't mean anything! Preseason games don't mean anything! Preseason games don't mean anything!

Cmon guys this is preseason. Last year we were 4-0 and look where that got us. Preseason is where we fine tune the team.

It sounds crazy, but I'm now convinced we will give the Rams a hell of a game in week 1. And, I thought we would get handled pretty well by them but surprise NE in week 2. I was at the game, and believe me, we didn't show them jack. We rushed four all night, and they are bound to be way overconfident watching this film.

How's that for a spin!

Shawn King fumbled twice. Cut him. Navarre Fumbled once, not his fault he had no time at all and was hit as he was trying to throw.

OK is it just me, or did Navarre look very sharp tonight, against 3rd stringers or not. His balls had a zip that I didn't see any other QB have and he was very accurate.

Mccown also seemed better in the pocket tonight but other than Freddie Jones he didn't have any targets.

Defense, aside from Macklin and some good plays, swiss cheese. Enough said.

Preseason or not, win or loss we looked awful. Special teams played poorly, the defense played poorly, people were dropping balls left and right. BAD BAD BAD

1) Preseason football means absolutely nothing. Nothing at all. No other way to put it.

2) We're all Cardinal fans here, so we can admit something...we've sucked for 75 years now. That's why I believe being a Cardinal fan is better than any $125 bucks an hour therapy. Nothing else gets you down!

The Cards must get their O-Line established. When they can't get 7 inches while they have their first unit in against the Chargers second unit is not a good sign.

They need to find out if they can make a trade for a back like Henry or McGahee. They have no one at this point that can make the difference in a game. They don't have anyone that's going to concern anyone about their ground game.

They better pray that they get at least 2 of their starting recievers back on the field by the season opener.

The Cards have no depth at all.

It would be a good spin if it was true. We blitzed a ton last night. Rarely accomplished anything but the one Macklin pick.

Our pass rush is anemic once again!

Darnell Dockett is to slow to be at DE!
