I think it'd be a good depth signing.

He would be an excellent pick up. While I don't think he would necessarily start here, he would be an excellent special teamer and would immediate be our best player there.

he'd only be competing with Huff to start, so its very likely with Orlando in the last year of his deal that he could beat him out. Its good he's had a full season of starting experience with the Eagles

I highly doubt he would beat out Huff at WLB. Huff had a far better season then Adams did. Adams stats last year starting all year long were below average at best and only weighs 225 lbs. However he he is a pretty good special teamer.

It is interesting that we have went back to brining in players on the down low like past years instead of the big announcements of the first wave of players this year.

Adams will be a good addition to the team. With Hodgins comming back, maybe we let Morrow go. We dont need 3 FB's on the team.

check the stats, they had the same # of tackles...69

Huff had 1 sack

they were no different from each other last year

I did check the stats from the official stat keeper of NFL teams.

10 of Adams tackles came from Special teams not from playing LB. Stats.com seperates that out.

They were very different from each other last year.

Huff -
Tackles - 69
Sacks - 1
Tackles for loss - 9
Forced Fumbles - 1
Interceptions - 1
Passes Defensed - 3

Adams -
Tackles - 59
Sacks - 0
Tackles for Loss - 5
Forced Fumbles - 0
interceptions - 0
Passes Defensed - 1

Not only did Huff make more plays but he has 15+ more lbs on him, and atrributed to the best coverage LB unit in the NFL keeping TE's to the least amount of Catches, TD's, and yards in the NFL.

Adams would be a great pick-up, young player who is ready to contribute and who will provide solid depth and can start. We could probably get him for 1-1.5 a year also. I would be very happy if we got him.

They call him "The Bullet" as the top special teams player for the Eagles (30 takles on special teams last year). Would really like to see him in Cardinal red.

Our system is similar to the Eagles D as well so he would come in with a small learning curve.

We need all the help we can get on special teams. Ever since Green was hired I've heard that he was big on special teams and was going to really upgrade that part of the Cardinals game. Hasn't happened yet. Hopefully they're going to finally fix it this season.

Huff was solid last season. I'm not sure why he got such a bad rap from so many fans.
Because he missed too many tackles going for the knockout hit instead of wrapping up and also dropped a few balls he should have intercepted.

Not a bad player, but not about to qualify for the Pro Bowl either.

I think he started all 16 games for the Eagles so he must be a decent player.

This would be a solid pickup. This team needs some better special teamers.

Their LB corp with the exception of Trotter was atrocious John. He's solid for the ST's though.

I'm guessing because he's not Karlos Dansby! Or they would prefer to have Raynoch Thompson back...

Adams could beat out Huff.

He's also better than any OLB that we might go after in later rounds of the draft.

His signing could help us concentrate on areas of need in the draft like the OL.
