I'm trying to get excited for the season, I really am but deep down I know this season is already over. this blows.

Agreed.

My focus/excitement is on the rebuild/2024 draft. Feels like we have an opportunity to build a solid foundation with impact players that we don't have today.

Of course, I could be massively disappointed.

So the argument about no team has ever gone through a rebuild with a top 5 paid QB is now moot...lol

Different situation completely.

None of those guys above did it. They all got paid after the fact...when the team had MUCH more talent than us/were a winning team.

The fact is no team with a roster like ours (no talent) has never been built into a championship team - by starting out with a Top 5 paid QB and no talent.

My gut feeling on the NFC….it’s the 49ers and Eagles that are contenders for the Super Bowl. There’s no one else.

Heck the NFC title game maybe the best game of the season.

On paper you may be right, but “on paper” normally means squat. Eagles had the easiest schedule in football last year. They don’t this year. And I still don’t think that the Niners will get the QB play to get into the SB.

It's only been one game, but I feel that I saw the winner of the NFC North and the AFC West.
Agree with the AFC West, but the NFC North should be interesting. With Flores and Campbell in the same division, the NFC North may very much be the Black N Blue division again. With Flores in MN, I expect the Vikings to be a violent D soon. I’m not sold on Fields, so I still don’t see the Bears contending for the division just yet. And the Packers may be better than people expect even without Rodgers. The Lions would seem to be the favorite, but it might be interesting.
