Wasn't that high. No excuse. He had both hands on the ball. Any DB/WR coach will tell you that if you can get two hands on the ball, you should catch it 10/10 times. This is a recurring issue for Badger.

In college he had great hands, even as a rookie he did. I think it may be because he's moving around so much he's in different spots now but he's dropped at least 4 picks this year.

of course on the bright side, that's at least 4 balls he broke up.

I would throw Chris Collinsworth in there as a Goat. If I have to hear him pimping his PFF web site one more time I will barf.

Thankfully I'll be at the game next week so I won't have to listen to his stupidity.

I think Collinsworth is the best color analyst in the game.

He is annoying sometimes but nobody is better at breaking down plays, quickly, and he has a real understanding of what is happening in the trenches, defensive strategy and Quarterback play.

I will take Collinsworths knowledge over Grudens superlatives any day. :)

.

Im not that down on him.... but later in the game when he was trying to link Iupati being out with the protection issues and not running well...

i just thought that was inaccurate; pressure was coming from the other side, they didnt run the ball all that well with Iupati in there.

Not really a goat but was anyone else annoyed at David Johnson for continuing to run the ball out of the end zone on kickoffs? He was never making it to the 20 and I was terrified that he would fumble or there would be a penalty that would pin us back against our goal line.

Very.

Was driving me crazy. Fires up the opposition big time.

Oh, and Bucannon is really showing how overmatched he is at POA. I know we don't have better options, but he is a liability at ILB vs power running teams. Minter isn't much better either which compounds the problem.

He is annoying.

It made me laugh though when Floyd beat Sherman for the touchdown. You could hear CC in the background saying "Oh No" as the pass was being thrown.

Him and all the Sea Hawks were all saying "Oh No".

I think it's safe to say he's a Bengals fan. But yeah, not a lot of Cardinals love around the main stream.

Someone I think deserves a hero mention and has been much maligned here and in some instances rightfully so and that is DREW BUTLER. He did a great job punting last night.

Agree on Bucannon. He is not good at playing Linebacker. Minter wasn't bad but wasn't good either.

Guy doesn't get to the ball carrier under control. Bounces off them going for the big hit too often. Needs to wrap up.

Not sure what he is to be honest.

Heroes:

1. WRs -
- Floyd - Huge game & 2 TDs... hamstring injury stinks, but he was huge.
- Fitz - great 1st half, defense must have started double teaming after he got hot & left Floyd open instead.
- Jaron Brown - 4 catches on our final 2 scoring drives including stealing an INT away from Sherman (possibly the turning point in the game)

2. CBs - Tyrann Matthieu - key INT, could've had 2 more & Patrick Peterson - shut them down

3. Carson Palmer - Took a beating, but stayed focused & never gave up. He tore apart the vaunted Seattle defense with his passing. He made big mistakes that would put him on the goat list if we had lost, but without him we don't win this game.

Honorable Mention - Kicking game... best game this year by Butler & Catanzaro. My only complaint were Cat's kickoffs not being deep enough.

Goats:

1. Jerraud Powers - got burned on multiple deep balls... should've left Bethel in there.

2. O-Line Pass Blocking - multiple offenders here... Massie was bad most of the game. Sendlein/Cooper kept getting confused & letting guys come in through the A gap. They were 95% to blame for the sack fumbles.

3. D-Line/pass rush... didn't gang tackle Lynch & while they got pressure on Wilson, they didn't get him on the ground enough.

Dishonorable mention - John Brown - invisible, I know he has the hamstring injury, but he played well with it the last 2 games & just had 2 weeks off. I'm sure they were being physical with him at the LOS. Maybe Seattle was so worried about him that they left Fitz & Floyd open?

I think this was the case Sunday night. I didn't see too many deep routes by Smoke. He was probably more of a decoy than anything else. As soon as Floyd went down Jaron was open in his place. We were playing one of the top secondaries also.
