Pretty tight usage.

Conner played 59% while Benson snagged 16%. I feel like the coaches will see how Benson is running and if they don't like it, he is out.

Tip played about the worst 41% snaps a player could.

Zay Jones outpaced Dorst once again, 39% to 23%. The season of Dortch may be over.

Adams got a little work for Colon but similar to Benson, it seems he gets a quick hook.

Defensively.

DRob debut. 42% of snaps which is really good to see. 4th most on the DL behind Collier, Still and Lopez.

Baron played the second most snaps for EDGE at 42%. Also nice to see.

On that note, Xavier Thomas was out of the rotation. Only played 9% (5 snaps).

Max is still CB4 playing 49%.

The one play Adams was in for Colon & he got the penalty, he had his man blocked, no need to hold there, he was pulling on the play. I'm not sure he played much after that.

The rookies seemed a little more sloppy/penalized than the vets, not sure if data backs that up. If so, is it the season length kicking in? Or the continuous adjustments that are required at the pro level to which they have to adjust?

I did notice DRob getting double teamed at least once & he got a little pressure on the sack by LJ. The more experience those 2 get playing together is definitely a plus.

I thought DRob was fine. @kerouac9 was right about his pass rush moves but a lot of college guys have to develop those. He held up physically and only had one or two mental mistakes which was nice.

I literally only noticed DRob on one play, where he wasn't making an impact, so he didn't do much for me. But just having him in the game and getting significant snaps at this point is a net positive. We need him to develop so badly--and to do so quickly.

Added note in this article. PFF charted 29 of Wilson's snaps in the slot. Jones playing mostly outside.

Tip's running more routes which is a positive.
Tip can run right to the bench and he'll be doing this team more good than he is right now. How many penalties does he have on the year now? It's getting out of hand.

At worst, I feel like he develops into a very good rush defending DT. He was able in his first game to hold ground vs some double teams, and lock out vs single blocks. From there the progression to getting your eyes up quickly and shedding the block is pretty natural.
