I started Kyler salivating at the Niners too. He wasn’t terrible but he was pretty mediocre. I was just lucky the rest of us team played well so I could kick brother-not-ouchie’s ass for a nice pot o’gold.
To be fair Kyler and Drake had been good for me all year, especially Kyler. I had to start Arnold all my TE's were injured, and weeks earlier I cut Tonyan because he wasn't doing anything, he's been a stud since then.
The main reason I lost is James Robinson and Keenan Allen didn't play so I had to get replacements at the last minute, Ito Smith and Greg Ward. Ward had 2 TD's against us but did nothing, Smith was ok but no TD's.
I had the highest scoring team in the league all year, and my opponents scored the most points of any team all year, so I finished 3rd regular season and 2nd in the playoffs.
I picked up our defense at the last second convincing myself they'd fall behind pass and we'd get sacks. And my kicker was injured so I got Succup, the most accurate kicker in the NFL, who missed 2 Xps(-6 points) and a FG and finished with -1 I think.
