Team needs to play hard, sound football.
As few as possible penalties
Stop the run and rush the QB if he wants to pass, make his day hard
And on offense find a way to finally slice up that Rams D. Put a 50 burger on it if you figured them out, whatever works.

The Darksider would say ... Backup QB - save to say you lose
The Coolaid drinker would say ... everything is set up for a cardiac cards rebirth and a long run in the playoffs for the lombardi against the Steelers...

Sunday we will see which side is more in check with reality...

Kk needs to go all George Costanza this week and do the opposite of his last few game plans

The nihilist in me wants Strevler in so we can watch 2 backup QBs fight over our playoff spot.

Cards currently +1.5 and +100 ML...I couldn't pass it up. +100 ML in the books. Even after I saw the 49er snap counts and that Simmons only played 38% of snaps. Got so triggered I posted. My disdain for Vance ever grows.
Thats not bad. I can see Cardinals shifting to favorites when K1 gets green light to play later in week.

My wife is making fun of how triggered I am. and to that question, I don't know. Vance seems to think it is better for Campbell to show up to the correct hole 2 counts after Wilson ran through it vs Simmons going the wrong way even though they have the same net result.

Wolford is barely 6ft & from watching some AAF games, its all shotgun for him as expected. Last I checked, Rams have Goff under center more than any other team. Wolford not coming in after never playing under center in his life & replicating all that play action like Goff.

Would love to see the team get the mcvay monkey off their backs and make a storybook playoffs run

I’d go *******

but I just can’t see the logic in a fan having more enthusiasm than the team.... these guys don’t look like they want to win.... like someone told them the plan is to make a super bowl run next year so they’re just playing it out so they can get their off season talent infusion. Over the years we have all seen this team lose in spectacular fashion.... but this season and last week in particular was the first time I was ashamed of this team. There have been several games this season that were important... pivotal.... critical.... and they’re not just lackluster... they’re downright disheartening.... it’s hard to even explain this season... these guys play like they’re stoned or something.
Now here we are... this is the playoffs... win or go home from here on out
Nobody on this team knows how to win.... where is IT? That ability to make a big play when the team needs a big play
Where is the killer instinct? Where is the need to not just win the game but the desire to BEAT your opponent? Where is the need to beat your opponent so bad it even affects their play when they come back next year.....
This is a team of losers. This is an organization with a culture of “ good enough “
Winners know that “ good enough “ is never good enough
Maybe they’re using the old Bulls mentality of “just do enough to make the playoffs “ and then they’re gonna turn it on.... then they’re gonna care....
I’ll watch the game
I’ll probably get excited at some point

but at this point I refuse to show more enthusiasm than the millionaire candy asses who are getting paid to want a win
The local turkey bowl had more precision and desire than this team has shown all season.... those unpaid out of shape nobody’s wanted to win and it showed in every players eyes on every snap
If the Redbirds could pool together that much passion for just a half on Sunday they would win big
But instead they’re just gonna play “good enough “

It's not his job to motivate millionaire, professional athletes to play well in a loser-goes-home game. If the team comes out flat, I think that's on the players, although it does beg the question, Why? If the game plan sucks, then yes, that's clearly on him. I just don't think we can prematurely pin the loss on KK. Sometimes it's the guys who actually play the game, no?

Its literally his job

Seeing some inaccuracies out there. McVay confirms that, as of now, Sunday’s QB1 is Wolford. Backup is Perkins, who will elevate off PS. They’d like to bring in Bortles as extra depth, and since he’s coming off a practice squad, he would be on the 53-man.

Kyler was the 31st ranked QB last week. That is thanks to his feet.

Its funny because you know when I feel Kyler started getting worse (and it's probably coincidence) but do recall that presser where he was asked "What do you think about being the #1 offense?" and Kyler asks someone off camera if that's true?

I think it was after the Bills. But around then is when the decline started. I wonder if he felt pressure from that and being in the MVP race? Probably just coincidence.

That seems odd. he played with Ward in college and Ward is on our PS so maybe we saw him while scouting Ward but he doesn't seem at all like our kind of QB.

Has it been established that Streveler will start if Kyler's ruled out? If Kyler's ruled out before game day, wouldn't Hundley start?

Or you know the fact he hurt his shoulder early in the Seahawks game. Michael Vick stated the followed day that AC joint injuries linger for 2 to 3 weeks.

Last game he just played bad.
