Could it be that the plan is to carry over as much cap space as is allowed so they can better absorb the cap hit if they plan to move on from Murray in 2024?

I been thinking that same thing. If they get a top 2 pick and decide on a new QB it makes sense to trade kyler... but eating 40mil sucks...

I think they’re keeping their powder dry in case that has to happen. I think Kyler is on his best behavior right now because he’s the next step in the house cleaning.
