I don't believe the Cardinals think Ertz is washed.
Ok. 33, coming off an injury, and with middling stats for the last 5 years.

If they don't think he is, they're not paying attention. He's getting almost 7 targets a game and making a minimal impact. Hopefully his blocking is stronger than ever, because he's not very good anymore.

It was like a switch went off in his head. He started super poor, like he has so far this entire season. Then something just clicked and he started hitting the holes much faster.
Actually getting a big opportunity. Pretty sure his sample size was very small before yesterday.

Small sample size for sure. He had made the least of his opportunities though.

Dobbs has played well. Harsh to rag on the guy for a below average game.

A lot better QB's have had much worse performances this year. It happens to them all.
This is true, but the Bengals dropped a couple more picks, which would have really made for a brutal game. His first TD pass to Hollywood was a beautifully thrown football, ugly, wobbly passes after that.

Dobbs has hit his ceiling. Murray time to help.

He was coming off injury and was still basically a rookie. He had some penalties for sure but was very physical and held his own. Give him a chance. Nothing to lose.
I don't necessarily disagree with you. If you can't hack it in the preseason, you aren't going to give the coaching staff much hope that you can in the regular season.

Young players take time to develop. This is the perfect time to see what you have in this guy. They didn’t just release him. Wilkinson is just bad.

I think he is the worst starter on the field for us. I just disagree that we should definitely be using Hayes. I think Colon has done much better than Wilkinson has given the chances.

You answered your own question. They are giving him 7 targets a game. You don't do that if you think the guys is washed.

Yeah, the results seem to say he's washed - if he's not in the plans for the future, I'd like to see more of McBride, especially as the L's pile up.

I’d like to see Tune, Mo and more of McBride. The hard truth is for whatever reason unknown to me, this staff doesn’t give a sh*t what I would like. It’s a head shaker for sure:)
