I will agree with you that they are two totally different players. Holmes is an athletic high flying shot blocker! Baynes is a below the rim, solid base, space eater. The thing is, I keep reading with Baynes it's all about the practices with Ayton. The big solid centers Ayton is either intimidated, or can't figure out how to play against them. Who knows if he won't report here, but the idea is Ayton gets a bulky guy to practice against. Also, it's about us eating some salary to get that draft pick. Let's be honest. I think at the end of the day, Baynes is never supposed to be a long term piece in Phoenix.
