I think possibly that Cat Man may be more comfortable in DB as a holder?

The Vikes cut their FG kicker after another missed extra point this week..

The Vikings released Walsh on Tuesday after holding tryouts for a handful of kickers last week. They will sign Kai Forbath to replace Walsh, according to a league source.

Is it really possible that there aren't any better punters on planet earth who aren't employed than these two guys? Is it really that difficult?

Because the Cardinals seem more than willing, nare I say eager to employ Drew Butler, and he is TERRIBLE.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm oversimplifying the position but I cant help it, everytime I watch him suck I think; HOW? How is it possible that we cant pay someone to kick a football better than this...

Same here. It is truly amazing.

So Quigley forces a fumble and Keim repays him by cutting him. quigley a punts weren't spectacular but his hang time at least in person seemed eons longer than Butler. I just don't get this at all.

Actually he didn't cause the fumble. Had he touched him then the ball would have been dead. Guess we should credit and thank him for missing.

The whole special teams thing is mystifying. I've seen a punt blocked, a field goal blocked, chip shot field goals missed that could have won two games, terrible long snapping, a starting wide receiver who's clearly not 100% used on punt returns, and Andre Ellington used on kick returns who, I may be wrong on this, but don't believe he's yet to return one past the 25. I know its been debated to death on this board, but I still scratch my head over special teams play after every game.

The whole STs is a complete joke but resigning this guy is just stupid. BASK have officially lost their collective minds! This will cost us another game if not more just wait and see!

I wish someone would ask BA what it is that he sees in Butler that makes him think he is the best guy for the job.

Bad things come in threes, first Trump and now Butler. What is the next thing?

Over exaggeration at it's finest. Our season isn't hinging on a punter. If it is then we have worse problems than Butler. Way worse.

Not a fan of either punter but at least Quigley consistently had good hand time. Does bringing back Butler help our CAP situation? Since he was on the roster to begin the season his contract was guaranteed for the year so bringing him back and cutting Quigley saves us money because we don't have to pay both?
