I usually go see the cards 49ers game since I am close to san fran
and thats easily a 300.00 dollar trip so I chose to scrap that and see all the cards games on tv instead
so it should be a real fun season now, can't wait:thumbup:

Did you get a directtivo receiver?

If not return your DTV receiver right this second and get a dual tuner directtivo unit!!!

Ask anyone and they will tell ya the same. Record one game while watching another live. Or record two games while watching one that has already been recorded!

You can get a Tivo for anything. I don't think they make a Tivo/digital cable receiver. NFL Sunday Tickets is only available with DirecTV. I'd jump into DirecTV anyways, you'll get an all digital signal then.

That doesn't really matter unless your TV is capable of producing a digital signal, and if you didn't spend at least 1500 bucks on it, then you're probably not.

I'm pretty sure DirecTV actually bought TIVO.

There is scuttlebutt that pretty soon, you won't be able to buy a DirecTV receiver that doesn't already have TIVO incorporated into it.

Except in Canada. The NFL Sunday Ticket, MLB and the NHL are available to digital cable subscribers. The full package costs - $24.95 a month CDN. We've had it up here since year one of the Direct TV deal.
