What adjustments/changes would you make for the rest of the year and heading into next year?

I'd sit or cut DA. He should never start another game as QB of the Cards.

I'd start Skelton the rest of the way.

I'd fire the DC right away and hire an OC and a DC before next season.

I'd only play AW near the line of scrimmage...he gets burned in coverage.

What do I want? I want to lose the rest of the games if Luck comes out. I am so sick of having a QB that can't hit a target.

for the rest of this year? i know what i would do, but i know what the FO will do. i doubt any coaching changes are made till the off-season. i'm sure billy davis will get canned and we bring in an o-coordinator. if that doesn't happen, i will be utterly shocked at this organization. i can see DA starting the remainder of the games no matter how bad our record gets, i just have a feeling whis will stick with him. hall had his shot and completely imploded, i would like to see skelton at some point get some reps. you don't want to appear as if you are mailing in the rest of the season, but start giving some guys who usually don't play some more reps.

Bench - Start
Gerald Hayes - Daryl Washington
Bryan Robinson - Dan Williams and Gabe Watson
Joey Porter - OB Schofield
Ben Patrick - Jim Dray
Alan Faneca - Rex Hadnot

I would like to see DA benched for his poor play but starting John Skelton would be feeding him to the wolves considering he reads defenses worse than Hall and DA combined. Don't even get me started about Hall, he has thrown more touchdowns to the opposing team than his own and throws like a weak armed DA. Graves/Whiz screwed up by not having another veteran QB on the roster. :bang:

I don't see us winning another game this season. So lets allow DA to sit in there and take the hits rather than throwing Skelton into a dangerous and thankless scenario. DA got us here; lets let him finish.

Why not? The defense looks like it has. As far as that goes most of the team looks like it has. Some of them did not even show up for training camp.

Start Skelton. There is a reason we traded up in the draft and shipped out McFadden to get him. Anderson is not going to get better or improve upon his many weaknesses. He might even get worse. Take your chances on Skelton to see if we really do need to invest a first rounder at the position. There are other needs to address such as on the o-line and OLB early in the draft. If he shows promise and an understanding of the offense, why not give him the keys to the offense in 2011?

Gotta fire Davis. I like our defensive players (we have at least 5 pro bowl caliber guys back there). They need someone with a solid playbook, experience at the 3-4, and leadership qualities.

Make adjustments on the 0-line. Try out someone else at LT. Levi sucks and continues to be a liability. Bench Faneca. He is obviously a shell of his former self. Try Hadnot in the interior.

This, with AW being moved to a "situational" OLB type (may be what you meant). New OC and DC need to start TOMORROW! Oh, and release Porter and work O'Brian ans AW in his spot....

I would like Skelton to get some playing time to see what we have for the future. However, I would still start DA.

Also give the rookies more playing time (LB Washington, NT Williams & TE Dray)

These are football coaches you are talking about. They won't make any changes at all.

The guys they have out there give them the best chance to win.

Right?

You don't do anything just yet... Seattle is going to lose today, which means we will still only be 2 games out of fist place. Next Monday night against the 9ers is the determining game... lose that game, then you make the changes. Not now.

Just don't put him in a situation where he's doing a lot of man coverage. When he's not in the box let him play back in deep zone and smack the receivers when they go for the catch. Whether he's 5 yards or 15 yards away from the line of scrimmage he's much more effective when he's playing going forward instead of backwards.

I saw Dray getting a good bit of action today.

Washington>Lenon
Williams>Robinson

As far as Skelton might as well give him a series here and there so he doesn't have to worry about an entire game's worth of gameplanning.

The team is currently in a really bad situation. They have allowed over 30 points in half their games and scored less than 20 in half the games.

I cut DeWreck Anderson, fire Davis and Grimm, and bench Adrian Wilson and Joey Porter, and see if the guys still want to tiptoe up to the line of scrimmage on Sunday and steal their paychecks on Monday.

What the heck it couldn't get any worse. They're already getting slaughtered every week.

Once the Cardinals are mathematically eliminated, (probably with four to five weeks to go in the season) start Skelton at QB.

Move L. Brown back to right tackle.

Put Bridges at left tackle to keep the position warm until next off-season when you can look for a new starter.

Start Hadnot at left guard. Faneca is finished.

Resign Lutui as soon as possible.

Run the ball almost exclusively.

With these changes the o-line will be able to build some chemistry and learn to run block together with the only disruption to the chemistry coming with the addition of a new LT in the off-season.

Finally, I would start these players the rest of the way at their respective positions: D. Washington, D. Williams, C. Wells, O. Schofield, and W. Davis

Start Skelton. Literally cut DA, then remove him from the team.

Start Washington and Williams.

Look for an OC and start courting him.

Look for a DC and start courting him.

beat the niners twice.

Draft the best QB on the board, and sign the best QB in FA in the offseason.

Do not draft any position other than OL, LB, QB and CB. That's it. And the QB has to be the first pick we take or don't draft one at all.

I like this. Especially your thoughts on the draft.

the way that dudes throwing he's wiping out a receiver every game, fitz and breaston are going to get season ending injuries if they keep going up for his ridiculous over throws across the middle that guy exposes receivers like no one i have ever seen,
if i was on our team i would alligator arm it for the rest of the year just to preserve my livelihood, why risk your payday for that worthless turd

DA is going to get one of our receivers destroyed with his high passes. Just get him out of here.
