Where games are almost always won by playing solid defense and a solid ground attack...
Question - is it remotely possible that the Cards can win a post season game in the scoring realm of 13 - 9?

'Course not....




Not sure if the Cards will have to face that sort of game dynamic. They could refuse to get caught up in that sort of game, toss the run to the side and throw 60 times... Might not matter that they could go 3 and out the majority of the time, or that Kurt might toss a pick or two... But IMO, at some point this post season, they will need to make "THE" stop, or do what is necessary on offense to keep the ball away from the opponent... I have very little faith here...

Yea.... just like at home against the defensive juggernaut of the Vikes...

I think that game was more of a mental/emotional letdown than a flat out beating. I could be wrong but I am looking at the whole body of work vs the last game. On the whole the Cards have played well at home vs. quality opponents. In that sense I think they have a chance to win a playoff game at home...I don't give us much of a shot on the road..especially back east.

We scored 1 offensive TD against the Vikes last week so obviously it can be done(20th ranked pass defense).

I know I'm jealous of those lucky Lions fans. They have the excitement of a possible 0-16 season, and all we have going for us is a playoff game. That I HAVE to go to no less.
