1 play it's a touchdown and we win one of the great, ARIZONA Cardinals games ever. Everybody is happy and praising Warner, DG, yada yada yada. But we lost. It hurts, but I am never going to be upset when my Cards are in the whole game.
My #1 worry for years have been the offensive line, it is the only thing still holding us back. But I am not going to complain yet. This game we had our center starting for the first time,he still could not shotgun snap so we had to switch on those plays with one of our guards. This was Ross's second game, not enough time to be ready but I am sure he'll show better this week. And BIG, come on people, have you EVER tried to play a profesional footbal game in 120 degree plus heat with the stomach flu. ANYBODY that complains about Big in this
game needs to get a life! Under the circumstances he gave 200%.

There might be time to complain later, but right now I think DG and the boys still knows what it takes.

ALWAYS A CARINAL FAN...

Denny said no fan is more upset then someone like Alex Steponovich.

Wrong Denny. There are cards fans alot more upset than the players. We've been going through this for decades.

That pretty much sums up my POV. This forum is so up and down it is crazy. If we won, we are on our way. But because we lost we have the trolls and vultures swooping down around us.

Why does everything here have to be extreme lows or extreme highs? I don't get it.

Because we are Cardinal fans.

We get drunk on :koolaid: and then go into serious depression.

It's a naturally occuring cycle of Card fans.

See the post on the proper protocol (Ill try and find it...).

Thank goodness I have tomorrow off. Cause I have to go down to the Wallmart and get a life. Because I will continue to complain about Davis. The guys whole career is made up of excuses. Well he was hurt.....well he was sick......well he broke his hand....we he was this and that.

But yes, Big did show heart, which is a good thing. And yes, I am proud of him for sucking it up and going out to play. But A+ for effort ended when Mac left town. Plus for 6 million dollars I think we would all play under any conditions.

I will be happy when he stops making dumb penalties in key situations. I will be happy when our RB's gain 100 yards in a game. I will be happy when he becomes the dominating force that we are paying him to be.

I don't particularly want to praise or defend L. Davis, but i've been looking for an appropriate place to mention this, and this seems as good as any:

I watched the Cardinals' last play on three different highlight shows, and each time i replayed it several times in slow motion. Only after multiple viewings at slow speed was i able to convince myself that Davis did, in fact, move just a split second early.

I'll bet dozens of plays go by in every game that are more deserving of a false start penalty than that one, with no flag. A good team puts itself in a position where one adversity doesn't prevent it from winning... but such a close call just adds to the frustration of knowing that if any one of a dozen different things had gone just a little differently, the Cardinals could've won!

Alas, that frustration has been a continual part of being a Cardinals fan for 30+ years...

It is like myself without any sleep. I can go without a good nights rest for about 2 weeks after that I am not liable for my actions. I turn into a snarling beast ready to kill anyone that keeps me from my rest.

In this case it is the Cardinals playing p!ss poor football for sooooo long that we do not have the patience for ANYTHING. My patience left about a season and a half ago. I can only imagine where some ASFN'ers patience was lost.

But enough is enough with this franchise. A monkey could get an NFL team turned around faster than this oraganization. I mean this is year 42 of the re-building movement. How much longer do you make the fans wait?

You wonder why fans are throwing trash on the field, or why the Bidwills are escourted to and from the stadium by police. Cause this is B.S. We have waited and waited. Hundreds of thousands of Cardinals fans have left for greener pastures. Leaving a bunch of fans who are borderline lunatics to sit and only hope that it will eventually get better, "It has to get better"

So like a man with severe sleep deprivation we are jumpy, impulsive, and down right nuts! Thus the reason for the super highs, and the depressing all so familiar lows.

Whatever happened to letting players determine the outcome of the game. While I understand the rule.. I don't think the spirit of the rule was followed. I am not mistaken I believe the intention is to avoid an offensive player having an unfair advantage by starting too early, that obviously was not the case on that last play.

I swear that I could not see the penalty and my first few replays of that down. It was only after complete focus that I noticed who moved...so IMO the ref was trigger happy.

They where trigger happy the whole game Clif. It was a bunch of crap what they pulled out there.

Shipp would break a 15 yd run... 'Holding no. 71, 10 yd penalty'.

Shipp would break another 10 yd run... 'Uneligable player on the line of scrimage, no. 79, 10 yd penalty'.

On and on and on. They called everything they could out there. And I agree, it just got to a point where the players couldn't play the game.

Exactly. I am actually started staying away from this board because of those extreme swing of moods here. Be it with the extremes on new player or ex player or our SB hopes vs. destined for #1 pick. No middle ground to be found here.

I saw Davis move right away. It was a big flinch, but he was immobile again when the whistles blew. Maybe we win a game like this later on in the season.
