Turkey legs and gorgonzola mash. My local supermarket always has the best deals on turkey legs. 3 whole legs for 4 bucks, can't beat it.

Schutd you ever visit the website for Niman Ranch? http://www.nimanranch.com/index.aspx

Absolutely. The country's first large scale model for providing sustainable meat to the masses. IM sure it aint perfect, based on scale, but its WAY better than our current CAFO system of raising meat. I like DIcksons, because I can literally shake the hand of the guy who raised the pig that my ham came from, if needed. I enjoy that. And Im willing to pay for it. Freaking ham was 12 bucks a #.

Turkey, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes (possibly), stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls ... all at U of P stadium. :D I am considering making lasagna as well. Pumpkin pie and Christmas cookies will be for dessert.

Brekky will be cheesecake and cinnamon buns.

Like Jersey I'm serving turkey with all the fixin's. Not only was I stuck in a snow-bound cabin at Thanksgiving with a bunch of USC/Cowgirl fans, the turkey was seriously under-cooked. Seriously. Like: Eat this and die.

Woman cooking: "Is this done?"

Bird looks like it was just pulled from the wrapper.

USC/Cowgirl fans, "Oh, yes!"

The Cardinals fan with the sense God gave her:

"No. Give it two more hours."

Cook and USC/Cowgirl fans: Well, they didn't say anything. But I got "the look".

Cardinals fan: "Yes. I would LOVE another glass of wine."

Turkey, stuffing, deviled eggs (still pondering the whole pickle juice thing), sweet potatoes, crescent rolls, mashed potatoes, nice bottle of Champagne. Pumpkin pie and Amish great-grandmother's peanut butter fudge. Happy Birthday, Jesus!!

Granted it is probably a contractual deal, but I live in Valentine, NE and there are dozens of ranchers here so you would think that getting fresh, non factory meat would be feasible. But it's not. It's a pretty good statement on food that I can order better meats from a farm in California than I can get from a grocery store in beef country.

Try finding a farmer in Iowa not growing GE corn. Hell, try finding a zucchini of any sort! Our food system is so effed.
